Take the A-50, try switching to guns. It crashes the game because the game does not understand the function or command. Try the mod before you say something.

You can be on any side you want, it won't change the fact that the Su-27 and MiG-29 were designed to directly combat the F-15s, and they were designed using all the information from the F-15s development ( don't remember the details, but the Soviets somehow gained that classified info ), thus making the better fighter. However, in the end, it still depends on the skills of the pilot.

first select target mode ( 1,2,3,4on top of key board) then lock on if not locked on automatically by pressing the tab key. in an f-15 u can launch any time in russian plane the comupter will authorize the launch. lauch by pressing space bar or enter i forgot which. i dont remember how to select waepons as i have not been able to play for awhile. if you have any questions u can watch the training videos

You can go on (LockOnFiles com) go to "download" and search "all fly" , you will find a mod called "Fly All Aircraft Mod" but read carefully before download.

Note that you must registered to downlad this and other great stuffs on the site.

lol, i just got flaming cliffs yesterday (and installed v1.12b patch[i have vista]) for the main russian lockon site(they also have the demo for fc, unlike the uk site), and yes to answer the question to a few people i know, YOU CAN USE THE SMOKE JETS FROM THE INVENTORY,(instead of at the wingtips, and in most aircraft like the su-27, mig-29a and s, you can put smoke on any hardpoint, so you can make a flag inthe sky or make purple smoke) AND YOU CAN CHOOSE THE COLOR, BUT ONLY IN FLAMING CLIFFS!

It is possible to combine colors to make new ones, for example, making hardpoints(pylons) 1 3 5 7 and 9 red, and hardpoints 2 4 6 8 10 blue, will make purple, but smoke is more realistic now, especially for the f-15, and a-10. BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT USE SMOKE WHEN YOU DONT HAVE SMOKE JETS(generators) EQUIPED ON YOUR PYLONS, AND YOU SMOKE WILL COME OUT OF THE PYLON YOU ADDED IT TO, so if you add a smoke jet on one pylon it will appear that way.

Download LOPE from the Lockonfiles website(registration is free) and you can set the weapons on any hardpoint on ANY aircraft whith ANY weapons you want, so if you want to give the f-15 r-33's then it will work, it will even show up on the hud perfectly in russian!(if you have the cockpit set to russian hud, shows up in english too.) Best Air to air missle is R-37, with rainge or 150 kilos, solves the problem with the inactive middle hardpoint on the a-10!

All they have done is edited their MEInit file in the folder ME (in the lock on install folder) from where the file says Humancockpit="no"which means you cant fly it too Humancockpit="yes" which means you can. The modders have done this awell as added the J-10 (or what ever it is...). So all in all, you dont need to download anything, just make a backup of the file and edit it. There you go, all the planes.
