  • They should make another one like this, but Jimmy Page :D

  • iii|; )

  • Can you guys do Sound like Avenged Sevenfold, Sound like Buckethead, or Sound like John Petrucci?

  • Awesome vid! Could you do a how to sound like Zakk Wylde or Dan Donagan in under a 1000 in the future? Great videos please keep them comming!

  • fuck yea. That's my exact guitar. Vintage sunburst FTW!

  • How about getting a epiphone and instaling slash's pickups on it? I mean the woods are the same...

  • jesus plays slash, how about that?

  • Can you please tell me the settings on the Haze please????

  • What is the first song chapters plays it sounds lime sweet child but at the same time dosent

  • ive gone through alot to try this amp and it does not have enough distortion

  • ahahahaah go big man.

  • What the fuck is a quid? And a bob. And for that matter a sixpence? Is a bob a quid? And are both of those pounds? Furthermore, if a pound is a quid, and all quids are bobs, then are all bobs pounds?

  • You need to do one for Jimmy Page ASAP!

    Please!

  • Vintage Sunburst...

  • Ok..i have an epiphone les paul standard in vonage sunburst with the only difference it being plain top instead of plus top, used with a marshall 45W MG... Why doesn't mine sound like that?!

  • @xEnZoProDucTioNz YES Gibsons are excelent, but it depends, if u feel attached to it in some way or are a guitare player then the guitar u mentions is definitely worth keeping, but if u get it done up it could go for a few grand at least, probably sinificantly more

  • next up: how to sound like seasick steve for under 10 £

  • Ive got one exactly like that the body sorry , it was my great grandads , he bought it then gave it to his son etc , its extreamly old though, theirs age markes everywhere , the paint ripped off all the wiring still works though , it says "Gibson Les Paul Model" and its beautiful i'd say it wa smade 1956-1960 maybe , thats what my dad says...is it worth keeping and are gibson guitars good? thanks!!

  • @xEnZoProDucTioNz

you are a rich man if you have a genuine gibson les paul from that era

    58 - 59 - 60 sometimes go up to 500.000 dollar

  • "He made me play it!" Sweet child of mine isn't going to be the new stairway is it? Noooooo.

  • can you attach another haze cabinet to this amp ?

  • I've got the Epiphone AFD Slash Les Paul that comes with the Alnico II Pro APH2 Slash pickups, combined with this amp should sound Awesome.

Will you be getting any more Marshall Haze's in? or once they're gone they're gone?

  • Is this the best amp to sound like slash for under 500quid?

and whats the best effects processor to sound like him?

could you get back to me asap pls mate

    cheers.

  • @hipidude12 simple answer? Yes. With a LP and a Marshall you shouldn't need much in the way of effects

  • @AndertonsMusic Ok thanks.

  • @AndertonsMusic so i wouldnt need any boss overdrive pedals or anything?

  • @hipidude12 well it depends on what amp you have settled on. If you need the marshall sound in a pedal then check out the range of Wampler pedals. There's a few different Wamplers that specifically sound like various Marshall Amps like the Plextortion (JCM800) Plexi Drive (JTM45) and so on

  • @AndertonsMusic I mostly play blues classic rock but my goal is to get Joe perry tone would you recommend me a pedal?

  • @hipidude12 vox valvetronix. its sweet.

  • @gugabool1 fuck lol thats an amp kind i meant vox tonelab. its multi effects pedal

  • Can i still buy that Gibson somewhere????

  • @Shetzkii yep we've still got one in stock follow the link in the description

  • I just watched this and you guys are bloody funny. It made my day. Glad to see someone having a great time at work....

  • hey man, are you guys using a wah pedal? and if it is so....wha pedal are you using?

  • no the epiphone doesnt only feel worse it looks worse too... there's something that i cannot specifically pin point that differs on the original gibson... maybe its just because quality material looks like its quality material know what i mean..?

And in a funny way usually just by looking at a guitar you can tell how its gonna sound.... i mean you just look at a gibson les paul and you kNOW....

  • It would be cool if you did something like this for Dethklok or System of a Down.

  • Epiphone fucking riches

  • oh my ggod!!! i love this videos... you too guys are blooddyawsoome!!

    i love the hairy dude!!!!

¬¬ sort of... don´t take it literally

  • The best double act since Phil and Kirstie!! Love it!

  • Oh, and of course: Great playing, Rob! :-)

    Makes me kinda jealous ;-)

  • Maybe I'm just stoopid, but I really think the Epiphone sounds MUCH better!

Its distortion sound is much warmer than that of the Gibson.

(I presume you didn't change anything on the amp, did you?)

    Cheers!

  • Please do a sound like AC/DC for under 1000 £!

  • @Da85Man Angus or Malcom?

  • This is rather strange... I looked up "Sound like slash for under 1000" And the first result was "sound like Bon Jovi for under 1000" Hmmm......

  • Comment removed

  • how about that!!!

that guitar also has a hole so you can stick it in whenever you want to use it

you didn't mention that at 2:17

    you're welcome ;)

  • sound like the crüe for under 1000 pounds!!!!

  • make a video on how to sound like justin bieber please

  • make a how to sound like alter bridge under 1000 pounds

  • trop de saturation pour du slash

  • to play like slash you have to play slowly and only pentatonic stuff. Chappers slow down, your not trying to entertain people here, your imitating slash. just power chords now, lol.

  • Hey Anderton's (:

I really want to get the Slash's tone, but I do love playing Metallica. What is the better one? Epiphone Les Paul Standard (the video's one) or the Epiphone Les Paul Tribute? I am needing some help :x

    Cheers :D

  • i love that epiphone, i have one and its awesome :)

  • please do a how to sounds like yngwie for under £1000 please

  • any chance of a vid of a esp ltd ec 401 on a couple of blackstar HT amps really wanna make sure im buying the right gear :P

  • POWER bridge!

  • Wow... I envy your hair. How long did it take you?

  • again, chappers is just extremely high in this

  • Could you please put the amp settings in the description. It will be easier for everyone.

  • @guitarlordification that takes all the fun out of getting a good guitar tone !

  • @david2545 i know what you mean. After I posted that comment I immediantly tried to find the tone myself and after half an hour I got it, and I never got frustrated. CHeers, JImmi.

  • Also, can you please tell me what the dials on the amp were on please.

    Cheers,

    JImmi.

  • what was that thing in the bag attached to the gibson?

  • could i take off the pickup covers

  • Just wondering when epiphone and gibson are going to bring out the chappers les paul ? let us know :)

  • I wsh you guys lived near me.....I would totally apply for a job there.

  • from a distance the epiphone looks better (thats just my oppinion) but the gibson sounds beast

  • make a how to sound like marty friedman!!:P

  • "P"ower bridge :D

    Nice video

  • Just watched the video.

I have an 88 LP with Seymour Duncan Alnico II pups and a Haze and the similarity in tone to Slash is remarkable.

I love the Haze. Perfect for club gigs. It has a great tone, especially lushed with a TS-9. I sold my Epi Elitist when I got the Gibby and the Elitist is also better than the Standard Epi.

  • I'f been laughing my ass of hahah cheers

  • which i have to say is f---ph--- awesome

  • that´s a very cool gear for that cheap budget! I got to be honest i wasn't expected to notice that difference between the gibson and epiphone! What's the difference between the haze and the Ma? why did you choose the haze? cheers

  • why didnt you use the epiphone slash signiture model?

  • OMG that gibson sounds unreal!

  • the specs list that chappers gives from 2:17- 2:33 would sound pretty good to a non-guitarist/noob guitarist :P

  • hey im curious, do these videos actually help in your sales volume?

  • @alapunk13 Some times - but not all the videos are about making sales - mostly we're just having some fun & trying to get across that coming to Andertons is a fun experience. I've done a couple of QVC style videos recently where we've had some kind of killer clearance deal - they worked quite well. Cheers, Lee

  • @AndertonsMusic You're honest about it, I like that! Cheers to you mate, Maarten

  • i believe that if youre shooting for a certain artist's sound you should aim for the original early gear he was using before the success and the endorsements...and the signature models of amps and guitars etc....

PLUS dont forget that signature models are just emulators...and they are not emulating gear like strictly guitar and amp but they emulate recording techniques, vintage mics, certain ambiance of a room probably demolished decades ago....tha analog simplicity of tape.know what i mean??

  • @AndertonsMusic @alapunk13 Well I'm loyal to Andertons because of these videos. Even in the days when they used Shitty-link to ship things and it was a total nightmare, I still bought my things of Andertons because they make these awesome video's. Now that they use UPS and have great prices.. They're basically the best music shop in the UK!

  • not fair of a comparison. the fishman power bridge isnt really genuine les paul tone

  • Hey could u make one of these for metallica tone

  • @ianybanezz Just done that!! Recorded it with Chappers yesterday - should be up on our channel in a week or two.

  • Alex Lifeson please!!!! or EVH.

  • @joakorush2112- Alex Lifeson. Interesting choice. I would enjoy seeing that. I see your a Rush fan.

  • @BaneOfXistence4 Hell yeah, iam waiting them here in Argentina :)

  • "there is your filth!"

  • hey, why does chappers hate playing sweet child o'mine so much?

  • @shakeshaftthomas Because its a song even Slash hates playing

  • Im from stoke on trent but i dont sound like slash lol.Keep up the great work chappers

  • just subbed :D

  • power bridge where you find power trolls.. funny as

  • 6:50 chappers almost jizzed in his pants

  • Nice video, pretty shocking how much difference the Gibson LP made, even just in the video.

Great work on the video, are you going to make more videos like that? If yes, which "How to sound like XYZ" is going to be the next one?

    Cheers

  • @n00bHunter07 Yeah, we were surprised just how much difference there was between the two guitars - but we kept reminding ourselves that there is a 3 grand price difference & the epiphone was still a great guitar for the money. We've already done a "sound like brian may" video, and we'll do another couple next month. Not sure who yet - maybe evh, morello, Hendrix, not sure! We'll see who is most asked for over the next 2-3 weeks. Cheers.

  • @AndertonsMusic Cool, thanks for the answer.

I know you get a lot of requests, but could you do a wah pedal shootout?

BTW, does the intro-song in all your videos have a name?

  • just swap the pups on the Epiphone for Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II's(that's what Slash uses)
