    As my Auntie taught us.

  • Sat at home on the vinyl sofa drinking a glass of birds instant orange juice, where has the last 35 years gone.

There are some things that just hit that spot at the back of your throat, and bypass all those layers and barriers you build up through those cynical years, reminding you once again what it was like to be happy, carefree and innocent. It's a humbling and somewhat painful experience; to wish those years back again.

  • @Scrabbler27 btw the fucker at 0:05 is YOU!!! lmao!!!

  • @Scrabbler27 but you said you were born in 1980 and you were four years old in 1984 which makes sense since four years prior you were a newborn but now you're saying that you're 25??? How did that happen? I'd like what ever medication you're taking.... BTW, smartass, 1980+10= 1990 1990+10=2000 2000+10= 2010 10-year-old 20-year-old 30-year-old

  • Rainbow rules.

  • You people are gayer than a handbag full of rainbows

  • dont fuckin dis rainbow man.....classic

  • I used to hate this show - I thought it was creepy.

  • Yeah same here, that bear used to give me nightmares.

  • COMPLETE AND UTTER FAIL

  • What ? Your utterly generic comment ?

  • Pwnage

  • the song was great but once zippy opened his mouth it was all downhill from there on.

  • Did rainbow have the same version of the song for the entire time it was on? I admit I've not heard it for years but I remeber the music being a bit heavier than this

  • your thinking of the zepplin version.

  • Yes, it was the much the same version of the theme tune that was used from beginning to end.

However, this version is a small edit taken from the Telltale LP of songs from the series - thus rerecorded.

You're right in saying that the original cut for television is a good bit heavier. And better.

  • funky

  • Oh my God!!!! I remember this as a kid....Thanks a bunch.

  • A million thanks for this!

  • Nooo... it can't be the past.... I refuse to surrender my long-held belief that one day, the world will truly be rainbow-coloured....

  • that bear is a scary mother f'er....

  • I love the bear

  • I like rainbow, it is my favourite tv programme. I love George, he is gay and cuddly, I want him to look after me. I like bungle too. His fur is beautifully soft.

  • tuff tune!

  • Memories of getting home from morning Nursery and sitting down with a plate of beans on toast just came flooding back

  • They'd only ruin it like Postman Pat.

  • Bungle ruled !!

  • This was my favourite programme as a kid, i love the memories.

  • i miss this sooo much... the good old days...:(
