i think you should have videoed it over a long periond of time by keeping the camera plugged in to mains. and when it was finished make it like 33 times as fast so it actualy looks like its growing.
thanks for the idea, but that wasn't possible...i couldn't even videoed it... all i have is a camera for photos... but what i should of done was creating a support for the camera so that i would always take the pictures from the same angles... and of course to remeber to take pictures everyday... i missed some.. but i had more important things to worry about!
