About Sammet's voice:

I think the fact that it is imperfect is the point to the song.

Sammet represents a incomplete, imperfect man.

And Sommerville represents a beautiful, perfect woman that the man is desperately in love with.

Kiske's voice shines at the end.. It will be much better if he sung it alone with Amanda.. Don't know but in my ears Tobias Sammett high voice isn't so clean and track looses points from that fact.
