How can you apply to be a character at Disney Tokyo? I was thinking of applying for Paris Disney because I'm from the UK but I love Japan so I'd love to go there.
@cymrutvxq The character auditions are held at Disneyland California and when they need cast members for Tokyo or HK they transfer them from the original park... they don't hold the auditions in the parks because the don't cast Asian girls as Caucasian princesses... Eurodisney is different; they cast directly from the park. And just quietly... Tokyo is much nicer than HK (and there are less cast members living there so the switchouts are faster for changing characters!)
I wish I could work at Disney world or Tokyo Disney Land :( and I remember the time I met Wendy and the mad Hatter at TDL good times :) (of course they where the real ones, like the real Wendy in this video)

Why do the walkarounds at Tokyo Disneyland speak English? Can all the guests understand them?
Harikou 4 years ago
they hire some actress' and dancers and stuff from DL, WDW to come to Tokyo Disney
ladydemando 4 years ago
I know that, but doesn't that make it hard when the walkarounds speak English and some of the guests don't?
Harikou 4 years ago
they probably have a character host with them to translate if they can't speak english, but I think most people in japan speak some english.

it was like that at Hong Kon as well...i guess its just so all the parks have english characters because of the movies
