i used to own this EXACT bass, but got sick of its tone after about a year. don't be fooled by it because its a 'music man'. try stuff out first. i ended up trading mine in for an American Jazz... best decision ive ever made

i have one of these and i have a fretless unlineed with 2 pick ups brand new...and ive got an aria pro II sb 1000 bass..MM are wonderful bass's i had a bngo once but that thing was super powerful i felt more aimed at rock than funk and r&B but still made well and sounded nice it all comes down to personal choice..

Learn before you open your mouth and let all the BS get out. There is a reason for a 3+1 configuration, which is the elimination of dead spots on the fingerboard. Im sure that is more of a contribution to the world of musical instruments than you or either me can make, so as the saying goes, "it is better to keep quiet and pass for an asshole than to open your mouth and prove it".

So Im just curious. And seeing as you were willing to post a video of this bass online im hoping you can help me out.

I own a Fender Jaguar Bass love it to death but I played the Stingray and liked the tone of the bass alot as well the only problem was the neck and since I use the second octave of the bass alot its important for me to have a fast neck. My question is do you think this is something I can easily adjust to or will it take alot of time comming from a Fender bass neck?

Great ? Can you get the tone you want with a different amp setting or amp. I have 3 fenders, my 66 p-bass has the small neck of the 3. A Sterling neck is not as big as you might think. If you really want that tone, do what you have to get it. Maybe 2 weeks of everyday playing for a hour. Will surprise you, player. The body can adapt. Thx, hope i helped.

Yeah right. Many independent shops will price match and some will set up your guitar for free if you buy from them. Like Arthur's in Indianapolis for example.
