how was rooney one of the better players..he was one of the worst..gave the ball away everytime..this is why England won't win the world cup..the whole squad is based around rooney..even though you have players like gerrard who is better than rooney and lampard, terry i could go on...you choose a player like heskey 4 the argument of rooney...teams will defend and keep rooney quiet..then who is going 2 score..he's not like a messi who can get past people with ease..bent should have gone too..

I'm South Korean but I live in England at the moment - and so I support both countries, but I honestly believed England was one of the Top 10 football teams in the world, until they failed to qualify for Euro 2008 with shock defeats. They struggled against teams like Slovakia, who failed to qualify for the World Cup - they scraped a win against Japan due to the fact Japan conceeded two own goals. South Korea managed to beat Japan 2-0 why can't England? England won't be able to get through groups
