When i click file-new. I make me a blank screen and i try to click the brush tool. But the same hand tool is there i used the hot keys also and the hand tool stays there. Any idea what i can do to fix this?

ok the only problem is when i click the burn tool it has a hand instead of the little circle for the brush. all i can do with the hand is drag the the whole image. any idea how i get it like yours?

@BBAWZmontages Hey thanks for the comment. I would say check out the hotkeys to get to the burn tool. google search "photoshop hotkeys" and then the first link is pretty good, the hand is the grab tool (i don't know what its really called but it grabs). hope it works out for you

@Kaosusoshi hey no problem thanks for the comment. go over to your layers box and then click on one layer and then hold down the ctrl button on your key board and then click with your mouse on the other layer you want to select.

If you want to select a lot at one try clicking the "shift" button on your keyboard and then clicking with your mouse on a layer that is more than one above it.

the open "bracket key" it is the keyboard shortcut to make your brush size smaller. it is the key right next to the "P" on the key board
