my dear brother/sister. Noone knows qur'an and sunnah better than rasulullah saws. He permitted this duff only on 3id. So if talib al habib knows this, we should know, that we listen to his nasheeds only on 3id. ;) khaair inshallah...it wasn't my intention to argue with you. Allah knows best.

cool, i usually don't like contemporary religious music, but this being the first contemporary Islamic song i've heard and i think it sounds really good.us :)

maybe it's just i'm in a western country so i'm only exposed to very bland songs that sound like pop rock just with God and Jesus put in them. but this is a genuinely good song. at least to me. i'd put it in my mp3 player if i could(misplaced the data cable).

but i would say this is just a great song, that happens to be Islamic. but i'm not religious, and mostly spoke and was friends with either nonreligious or people who never spoke openly about it(maybe because the stigma of being anything but Christian in the American south) so i don't know how things are viewed by those who are open about what they truly believe.

My favorite song of Talib Al Habib = The Ascension. Maybe you'll like it too. If you are intrested how believers view things, just ask..Most practicing muslims are mostly excited to tell you about what they believe, because nowadays many people have a wrong image about muslims&Islam. At least I do =p.

Once I am done reading my copy of the Qur'an i will probably have questions that need clarifying, but that will take me awhile because i keep getting distracted by SF books, cause i love that genre. i did speak to the people at the mosque i got it from, and learned some from them :). even though i offended them at first(didn't know you had to take your shoes off).they were very understanding about that and gave me the Qur'an free after we talked some, and i asked. :)

Hahaha from me it is normal to take my shoes of at the Mosque, at home etc.

I'm really suprised. I get always a bit emotional about it, because its beautiful to see that there are people who are very openminded and not scared of something they dont know. I know people who dont know what islam really is about ,but are not willing to search for the truth and just hate muslims, because they 'know' us. Its weird i know, but its true...
