they are right. and idk wth ur tlkn about when you say if text is applied. just make an animation (it CAN be anything) that just happens to be text. you can make anything man. and i think it just sucks without the text. FAIL

First: it's not Synfig that causes the crash, there must me something wrong with your computers. Synfig can use text.

Second: You don't need to use text, you need to draw the letters.

Excuse me, but it is not true. It is not the text what makes crash to the program. You can ask your doubts in Synfig's forums, there are a lot of people who sure will help you.
