  • 'i knew he is ok with this

  • eff the wings......gooooaaaaalllll

  • That's a goal.

  • @Laidx Do you know anything about the rules in Hockey?

  • There was a briefcase for the ref after this one.

  • Blown call for sure! Puck has to COMPLETLY cross the line...whereas we didnt see that happen...not from any angle that was shown

  • You couldn't here the ref obviously, but here's what happened:

The other referee came in and said it was a goal. For some odd reason, he overruled the ref that was closest to the play. So the original call on the ice was actually that it was a goal. The video review was inconclusive, so they went with the call on the ice, which was a good goal. Pretty dumb, but that's what happened. And I'm a Stars fan.

  • maybe they thought the ref intended to blow the whistle at 1:51 he holds his hand up as if he's gonna blow it for a goal then stops, it was right at the line at that point, that may be what they say. Idk i would've called it no goal because its too inconclusive but perhaps that was it

  • The only thing I can say is at 1:24, if you pause it AFTER his glove goes over and the puck comes back into visibility, it looks like it is over the line.

That's the only thing that I can suggest for it being called a goal. Still VERY INCONCLUSIVE THOUGH

  • 5:39 you can see white blow it up

  • 5:41, i dont think u should say that

  • listen at 1:23, WHY THE FUCK IS THE WONDER PETS PLAYING AT A HOCKEY GAME!

  • @ww2guy21342 There was an animal in trouble... somewhere.

  • On the red line at 1:21 but the whole thing has to be over the red line so it's not a goal...

  • No question a goal. The Wings suck

  • That was a goal. AND YOU BETTER FUCKING ACCEPT IT!

  • am i the only noticing that the announcer drops the F BOMB at 4:16....just saying

  • @MUSICk74 hahaha that shit is funny. I wonder if he got in any trouble.

  • at first, it sounds like "He was looking in front of the post, but if you keep on listening, he def says fuckin lol

  • who fired a volley as the ref started making the call...

  • replay at 5:31 you can see that the puck slides back off jimmys pad and stick, goes to the goal line and stops there. at that point jimmy has pulled it off the line.

  • The refs probably got tired cause I was there and boy did this game get boring

  • ref had best view and said no goal.also, the video evidence suggested no goal as well. certainly not conclusive enough to award the goal.

  • Damn it! I wanted to see if Patrick kept it alive! Did he?

  • @mattstevenson12 Heh, no.

  • @darkphoenix2 Awwhh... :( SADFACE

  • They had to have had a different angle in toronto that they did not show in the building or on the tellacast

  • I think it was in just by infering where it would've been. However the officials can't infer. They need indisputable EVIDENCE and there was none. Terrible call.

  • the ref couldnt see the puck-glove was is the way so he cant say for sure if it was a goal therefore its not a goal

  • STEVE OTT IS MY HOMIE! get over it red wings.

  • The refs hate the wings. always have.

  • On the reverse angle, which FSN REDWINGS only shows ONCE, clearly shows that the puck went all the way in.

  • who won the game i did not whatch it

  • Pretty sure Dallas won.

  • no goal

  • mike leggo sucks. over the past two years or so, wings habve been getting the short straw on almost every questionable call :/

  • Gotta say that looked nothing like a goal, and that's from a stars fan

  • Haha I was there That was a good game!!

  • how is this a goal? The rule is the whole puck has to b over not most of it all of it. thats bullshit

  • it was on a line but sure

and why the fuck isnt main ref behind the goals?

  • these kind of goals got to be reviewed even if there's a referee behind the net and saw that the puck went over the line so normally a referee see if it's a goal evn around the net not only behind the goal

  • because it's harder to see the puck from behind.

  • On the line, no goal. Or at least, not enough to overturn the call on the ice.

  • Do i look fat in this dress?

  • nope no goal

  • does it have to fully pass the line or does it have to just pass the line touching the white on the other side?

  • It cant be touching the red line if it is touching the red line a little its not a goal.

  • Bullshit!

  • This video reminds me of thw time my exboyfriend held me down & choked me with his 8inch Sausage-Link : )

  • the puck wasnt completely over the line, and they even stated that the video evidence wasnt conclusive. yet they called it a goal because both the OTHER ref who didnt make the call and the LINESMEN all the way at center ice thought it was in!! complete crap

  • the entire puck wasnt over the line. ya part of it was but nhl rules state that the entire puck needs 2 cross the red line in order 4 da goal 2 count. i really hate the redwings considering i was born n raised in colorado with the avs, but this is an absolute horrible call.

  • I'm a Stars fan but I'm not really an ott fan

  • GO SHARKS!

  • so in hockey it has to completly cross the line, not just part?

  • @MorpheusBand Yup

  • that wasnt a goal, impossible to tell with the cameras, the ref had the best view and u can see he was confident it did not score. that was a stupid call

  • the Wings get screwed over again....

  • you blind dude?

  • its not all the way past the line though just part of it is so no goal

  • no it isn't because its not all the way over the line

  • wait, it was over the line tho, u can clearly see it, but idk how hockey scoring works tho

  • it has to completely pass the line

  • @bornin86:

If you look closely, you will see that you are COMPLETELY wrong.

  • Ok, so apparently after consulting with the other ref and the linesman, the call on the ice was changed to a goal. And since there is no conclusive evidence that the puck was not in net, the call on the ice stands.

I can't believe that anyone had a better look at this than the ref who nearly had his head in Howard's crouch. Kinda funny how there is no conclusive evidence that this was not a goal nor that it was a goal. Makes you wonder what's the point of viewing these in Toronto..

  • he says "lookin..."

  • i did not even notice . that. i geuss im use to the word fuck i dont even reconize it as a "bad word"

  • dude you need to wash your ears, srsly

  • NHL people in Toronto need an eye checkup.

  • That was for def not a solid goal.

  • That was no goal for sure.

  • it's because the original call was ruled GOAL and there was no conclusive evidence that it wasn't a goal, not the other way around. 2 refs called it a good goal and one called it no goal, 2>1

  • @d3l1r1ous it was originally no goal. the other refs cant call it they are over 20 feet away. we have replays with close up and we cant tell. the other refs do not get to make the call. you do not know what you are talking about.

  • it was over the line tho..u can see it

  • @shaochiavang no you cant. the announcers even say you do not see the puck go over the line. quit talking out of your ass.

  • hey dude, i never said i knew anything about hockey, i clearly stated "idk how the scoring works in hockey" i just thought that if the thing goes passed the line, it would be a score and it looks like it passed

  • And once again the NHL blows it

  • The way they had to respect every rule regarding that call and after they went to the video, it turned out to be like this:

There are great chances that the puck never did cross the line, but that's a goal anyway. These are the rules, and yes they are stupid. Why did they consider the decision of the refs 30 feet away from the goal the same way they considered the call of the ref who almost had his head in the goal??? The problem is here.

  • Listen closely to the announcers at 4:15 lol.

  • Go Otter!! He had the last laugh.

  • 1:24 tell me if it is or isn't over the goal line.

  • Its damn close but I still don't see any white ice. Definitely inconclusive

  • It's*

  • OK WOW!! This is total horeshit!! XD I can't believe I went to 2 games this year for this joke of a league!! Seems we can't go without a week for phantom goal calls anymore. Something needs to be done!!!

  • Okay! This is still very funny!

  • Here's how it went down.

The NHL rule require conclusive evidence that the goal is good/bad.

The other ref and lineman called it a good goal. Even though it was waived off by the one. The other 2 went over to the replay booth. Told Toronto the call on the ice was that is was a good call. After a short discussion with the ref that waived the goal off. Toronto couldn't find conclusive evidence that it wasn't a goal. Hence why it was allowed.

Did it cross the line? Probably not. But it counts

  • Clearly no goal!! AH AH this is too funny i'm pissed they called it a goal LMAO! The NHL is a complete joke.

And by the way, i detest the Wings. But god they got screwed!

  • I hate the Wings they could all break their necks and I wouldn't give a shit.......Still not a goal

  • 4:16 anyone hear the announcer? he was fuckin in front....

  • Actually he says looking in front. But i see how it could be confusing i had to listen 3xs

  • @wudal23 : i know it sounds like fuckin, i thought it was too but i think he says looking.

  • I think he said "fuckin'".

  • He said he was LOOKING in front of the net.

  • i listened to that line 3 times and i cant hear anything that even remotely resembles "fucking"... your deaf dude

  • i guess call it payback for the last decade of wings getting every call in their favor LOL but the NHL needs to do something

the refs combined with all the rule changes to eliminate clutching/grabbing (forwards cant hold up players from hammering people viciously into the boards) and the instigator rule(who sits down during a fight or turns the channel, or hates the goon on their team) is screwing over the sport ...throw in the no contract with espn TV

  • I'm not a Wings fan, but how the fuck is that a goal? lmao wow.

  • The puck never crossed the line. I was watching it earlier, and the puck was wobbling and settled right on the line.

  • At 1:21 sec the puck is in the goal...

  • no it isn't

  • It has to COMPLETELY cross the line.

  • @NHLArchive yes it is

  • @iiyama451 u fricking retard. The puck has to be ALL THE WAY ACCROSS THE GOAL LINE. look again, and it isn't at any point.

  • the funny thing is that not one person seeing this wings fan or not can't believe this is a goal!

  • This is the 3rd time this year a phantom bullshit call has been made against the Wings, that helped cost them the game. The deep ref sells it as no goal, and his face couldn't get any closer to the net. I love how all the refs cover their mouths when talking to Toronto at the scoretable. I've about given up on the NHL and will no longer go to the games, and will focus more on OHL games. Go Plymouth Whalers!

  • bullshit

  • So next season, every times the Wings will play the Stars, the ref will do some of these bullshits to:

1- Give the Stars the W

2- Prevent the Wings to make a comeback resulting to #1

Yeah, the Wings blew a 2-0 lead but c'mon, it's not with the BS like this a team should win.

  • Wow... I HATE the Red Wings, but I don't think any team should be put through garbage like this. It looked really close, but the entire puck didn't go across the line, what a pathetic call...

  • Pretty soon the league is going to be paying off people to take runs at Wings players, I swear...like they havn't had enough adversity with all the injuries? They really need to get robbed by the officials on multiple occasions? (Tonight, Brad May no-goal)

  • BOGUS! The NHL makes it up as they go.

  • They have screwed the Wings on these type of calls all year.

But the worst ever situation is not calling the Pens for too many men on the ice for 40 seconds in the Stanley Cup Finals.

  • Total screw job. The trailing ref overrules the ref who almost ran into the goal post because he was so close to it.

  • unreal ruling from toronto. the NHL will pay for this BADEE mark my words

  • NHL is a disgrace.

  • Absolutely disgusting. Linsemen overturns the ref AND War Room's decision.
