  • Too easy for him...such a clean dunk too.

  • and he's coming kinda from the side.....he is not running straight through the court's center

  • whats the point of chasing him down when he is gonna do some miracle

  • I believe I can fly!

  • He jumped with the wrong foot and he still flew to the basket.

  • Effortless.

  • he approached at an angle. it should be around freethrow distance if he got there straight

  • "there you go. tongue full extenstion." lol

  • I cant be the only one that saw that skater at 0:24

  • haha i love how the commentators exitedly says " OH OH!!" and "HERE WE GO!" anticipating AIR JORDAN to take flight!

  • so it only took 2 dribble to go to the basket from the other end, i can do that except maybe take off about 20 feet closer... This is crazy

  • guys he could do this at 40 but knew his limitations during game time later in his career. He made some of the most incredible game time dunks during the 1996 comeback season at 33. The only thing stopping him from totally dominating at the Wizards was a serious knee injury he was carrying. The man was born to play basketball.

  • @JohnnyMarr03 I don't know about "totally dominating" but, his numbers in the first half of the season in 2001, were very similar to Kobe's. Jordan was 38, Kobe was basically in his physical prime at 23yrs old and 6th season.

  • MJ a fucking basketball bastard

  • that looked effortless...

  • terrible pass!!, black guy vs white guy, black guy wins...

  • Easy

  • @TheDK2day easy for mj yes

  • wew his just Really FAST... didnt notice it...

  • if not because of the player chasing him he might have dunked that ball from the free throw line!

  • just amazing i can't believe i just saw this!!! my god he was a monster. thanks for the upload man. i'm gonna go play some ball right now!!!

  • he's a baad MAN!!!

  • lbj ain't got shit on mj.

  • @julius0928 who's lbj? never heard of him..=)

  • that is so sick...he did that with so much ease.... its as if he didnt think its far away from the basket at all

  • ' We hope tat MJ stays in that phone booth and doesn't put that cape on. ' HAHAH

  • One of the best posts EVER! THX!

  • hahah...."Catch him Marlie if you can!...You can't!"

  • didnt even try, unfair for the league

  • wow i really never notice where he took off wow lol haha beautiful dunk one more prove of high this man used to jump ..kobe fan show me just one video where kobe is takin that close to da free trhrow line lol just one plzzz lol

  • MJ uses his Wings.....

  • he didn't even jump hard!!!!!

  • Posterrrrrr!

  • he did a similar dunk vs SEattle in 92 at Chicago i believe from the opposite side of the free throw lane. GOAT!

  • he was like 29 years old when he did that. he could easily fly to the free-throw. crazy talent.

  • Whats amazing is his speed only 2 dribbles then take off

  • didn't he also do a dunk that was at least 12-13 ft vs detroit in 89 or 90 through bill lambier?

  • yes,i have this game on my channel, please visit if U want.

  • aaaaarrghhh, that fucking camera angle drove me nuts back then. you anticipate for that beautiful dunk then all of a sudden "yes, camera 2 under the basket, you're fucking ON."

  • He also did an identical dunk against the Sonics this same season. It's on the Air Time tape. He takes off at more angle but outside the paint.

  • I'm not sure on the exact distance of the Minny dunk I mentioned, but it's far. I've only seen it from the under the basket camera on highlight videos. Bill Wennington is in the play trailing and MJ cocks it out to the side in one hand and spreads his legs in the air and jams it. I want to see it from the normal angle, because it's clear that it's a far dunk.

  • why these stupid camera angles where used i don't know, almost every time they switch to the baseline when jordan goes for the dunk you miss the beauty of it completely

  • It's freaking ridiculous and annoying, I agree. EVERY SINGLE TIME, they do this. I can't stand it.

  • yeah me neither,in regular view that dunk would look awesome

  • MJ got big hands to palm the ball like that, something that KB is lacking

  • It should also be noted that he's not running full blast here, either. You can tell by how he takes the two dribbles. He's at about 80-90% speed here.

  • Hey, sorry I deleted your last comment when I meant to hit 'reply'. Question, how do you think this dunk compares to LBJ earlier in the season, distance wise? Even with the angle, I don't think it's a full 15 ft, but then again, if I remember correctly LBJ's was a step before the line. I would say LBJ's was a tad bit further.

  • This is a tad further than LBJ's imo or the same distance, but I'd have to see it again. Again, you have to extend this in an arc towards the center of the lane where the basket is located - you can't just go straight across. Also, he was 29 here, which is nuts. There's one other dunk similar to this vs. Minny from the early 90's that I wanna see from a normal angle.

  • Did he really do this to Minny to? It's pretty sick because I was just casually watchin this game and not expecting anything. And then when it happened, he made it look so easy that i didn't notice it the first time...only after the replays did I say "wow he jumped from the FT line!" I bet he's done this several times in his career in random games out there that no one has / cares about anymore

  • @airjordan1585 give a link to LBJ's and let the people decide.

  • @airjordan1585 He looks like a foot and a half in front of the line, but traveling in an angle might make up for it. tut the the line is 15 feet away from the backboard, not the rim, still = he jumped pretty far

  • Great clip

  • He's 29 here too. Ridiculous.

  • Man!! he does these FT dunks with such ease effortlessly. He is just flying through didn't even break the sweat.

  • Man I wish I had this when I made the FT line dunk mix. Rare stuff. Thanks for sharing!

It would be fun to know how far out he actually was able to dunk knowing how easily he always did it from the FT line.

  • Man that pretty much is 15ft considering he did it from the angle and not straight on.

  • Yeah, the incredible thing about this dunk is how easy he made it seem..that's why I especially like it.

  • If im correct i think he also had a pretty 2 handed dunk on a fast break in this game as well

  • PLEASE upload this game if you get some free time! would love to see the rest of the game highlights as 1992 MJ is my favorite. thanks!!!

  • Yes I def plan to post this full game
