As a household fan it will miserably fail by high price and poor performance, so it will be discontinued.

But some years after that, suddenly teenagers will use them for a new sport game forming a new youth culture. So demand for bladeless fans skyrockets; many ones break, so other companies make special variants. But finally the Dyson ends as a 'cult' object that nobody associates with its original purpose anymore.
