Now discounting the speed he lost from the friction of his tires, and assuming he was sideways at an average angle of about 10 degrees, that would mean this speed towards the wall was about 17.4% of his speed. This means he hit the wall at 49 mph. Mind you that this is a very liberal speed. Lol, well get your facts straight, these cars don't exactly have a seatbelt. He was wearing his racing harness just as all drivers do. The thing that could have saved him was the technology that he refused which was the Han's device, which is a headgear device attatched the helmet that doesn't allow much head movement. It's not as simple as "wearing his seatbelt properly." In all reality, nobody knows if someone "could have lived" based on something they could have done. You can't reenact life.

He died from a basilar skull fracture that starts at the base of the skull his chin hit the steering wheel causing this. When they pulled off his helmet there was blood in his ears thats not ordinary thats from a basilar skull fracture, and he never broke his neck he had seven broken ribs and a broken collar bone.

he died from the force exerted on him from his seatbelts. he was going around 185 because they had 190mph restrictors on even though it looks like he is still moving all of his momentum at the wall stopped He took close to 70G the huamn body just cant withstand that kind of force. Just for you guys that think this crash doesnt look bad it is the almost the worst. You would rather be flying through the air 20 feet off the ground because the force isnt very high unlike hitting a immovable wall.
