I have to wonder, who made all those hats? And where does Van Pelt get all his supplies? Not like you can get bullets from the jungle. And Jumanji is shown as a sort of twisted artificial world like it's mechanical sun, who made all this? What's outside the forest of Jumanji? Is that ever explained? So many things to explore on.

The clue was not solved when they got out the first time, that was the card. the clue a "A trick in rhyme. Saves time." refers to the problem caused by treading the watch.
There's an awesome book where twenty-five high schoolers are the only survivors in the world, and time freezes. But all the other humans have disappeared.

As for your awesome book, that does sound quite interesting but what relevance does it hold to Jumanji: the Animated Series? unless you're just being subtley witty and I haven't picked it up...
It's called "The Vanishing" and it's by Marilyn Kaye...you might have to order it online because it's out-of-print. There's a trilogy, but I've only read the first one since I haven't ordered the other two yet.
