So, the gist of it is, instead of "Oh no he's going to make me burn in hell for ever and ever AHHHHHHH!!" fear, it's "Oh, he CAN make people (but not me!) burn in hell for ever and ever. Wow" fear? Just a quick question - you said obeying and submitting to God, but is that always a good thing For example, when God orders slaughters or brunings e.t.c, should that be followed mindlessly or questioned?

Perhaps not in modern times (Unless you agree with those ultra-rightwing christians, who say Katrina was a punishment for the prominent gay pride parade New Orleans holds) but in the old testament, God orders massacres and genocides of all other tribes (caananites and so on) living in and around what is now Israel/Palastine. And then there's things like ordering the burnings of children (only once did he intervene, and that story is better known than the other few) not to mention the gang rapes!

i love jeremy camp! the way he speaks to God has inspired me to get a more personal relationship with my Savior. It seems that whenever im going through a trial, jeremy camp always knows how to say what it is im feeling to God.

I love this song. I just recently, ok, well yesterday, got out of a relationship that lasted almost two years. This man taught me what love and true sacrifice was. Now, I have to trust God that he will break my fall even though I feel I've fallen to the lowest depths. This song helps me through when I feel I'm lonely and in pain.
