Mark, no offense, cause you have so much talent, but for some reason when I listen to this it sounds super sped up..maybe if it were a little more drawn out I'd feel it..personally that's why I like the acoustic version more..the rhythm is perfect and even the emotion in your voice shows more.

Ok, maybe it's not really that pretentious (This Mark Boutilier guy) in a literal sense, but I get a feeling of pretentiousness about it. You're probably right in that it's more immature than anything. To me, it feels like he's trying to force a feeling of deepness in the music that just isn't there. It's just the same crap that I hear everywhere else.
