This is soooo sad. The Gop, is so vital in American history- I always thought of it as the Control rods in the reactor of the country. They were usually so 'common sense' that they were kind of boring, but they usually tried to stay grounded. It seemed like they were a good balance against getting too far ahead of ourselves.
