This is an amazing scene. It shows how truly brave Harry is. He understands that he must die and he accepts that to save everyone else. So much bravery in the characters, especially Harry, Remus, Harry's parents, Sirius, Severus, and Albus.
harry:why you here the answer is cause you summon us through the resurrection stone and also we never never left cause you kept in your heart memories of being beside you
@dancemusic23 Exactly. Here's a better ending. Harry uses the resurrection stone on all the people that died, like Fred, Remus, and Tonks and then he goes to Godric's Hollow and resurrects his parents. That would be a kickass ending, but no, we get this shit.
@dancemusic23 Because if you watch Deathly Hallows Part 1 or read the book the stone does not really resurrect someone. Just an image of them that is not fully alive and it drove one of the Three Brothers to suicide.
I watched this yesterday and I cried and cried and cried. I got myself in such a state that my legs were shaking, I felt sick and but I wanted to watch it again and again. There's no words to describe how I feel when I see this. No one I know understands. And when he's talking to Lily for like the first time, its soo sad! Then I get angry because of what Voldemort had done. He murdered them and he made me cry!! But over all I just love Harry Potter and never wanna let it go...
I think the whole "Remus, your son..." line would have made more sense for the people who didn't read the books if they'd LEFT THAT FUCKING THIRTY SECOND SCENE WHERE TONKS AND LUPIN MENTIONED TEDDY. D:
Great scene btw you have no heart if you don't have feelings for Harry in this part. Still pissed he dropped the stone are you kidding me? At least keep it and don't use it to much or pass it down or something don't drop it!!!! Give remus's kid a chance to use it so he can talk to his parents once like Harry did goodness.
Man, I feel so bad for James Potter here (and the actor who played him, Adrian Rawlins) because his character has just been completely upstaged by Snape loving his wife lol
I love it when Lupin said: one day he'll know why his mother and father died for, someday he will understand" and I love it when harry looks at Lily, because he understands why his mother died for him :)
@randdomnnness I know.. I wish they had made harry and ron say something to each other or hug or something... I get that, that one look they said anything they wanted to, but still....
That Teddy comment still throws me off a bit, but an amazing scene nonetheless. I hope they add back in the cut Teddy scenes in part 1 so this scene can be even better in my eyes.
Good stuff, Dan has improved. Movie-makers are smart enough to understand what was required and hence added Hermione and Ron in it as well. What it does make clear about Rowling's canon is that Ginny is a pathetic character and the Harry/Ginny ship has no purpose in the books. She was noticeably absent in DH during all of Harry's important moments(Godric's Hollow scene) and Rowling expects people to understand she is Harry's soul mate? My limit for disbelief can only take so much.
I was already shedding a few tears at the start of this scene even though I was trying to hold it in. But when Sirius said his last line and pointed to Harry, my eyes just pumped out a river of tears :(
Omg i cried so bloody much on this scene even tho it was a long time ago when i read it, but i kept the book aside & cried for 15 min, Specially when Harry asks Sirius "Does it hurt dieing?" i was like Omg. Goosh i miss Harry Potter:(
I wish they would have left the part in where Harry doesn't talk to anyone and stays away from Hermione and Ron. But he runs into Neville and tells him to kill the snake.
@DeathEater7410 Er, actually it just brings back their souls, or forms. It doesn't really bring them back from the dead. I'm a little confused about it myself, but all I know is that they DON'T bring the dead back to the living
@spie4eva94 Haha yeah Snape would be like, "I still don't like you, but you know..." but nah it wouldn't fit. The Stone just summoned those who were closest to Harry.
@Verunme I think that's possible I have to ask my dad he's read the books
