"Rhythm Heaven" that we know from DS is just enchanted remake of that game.

In Japan it's called "Rhythm Tengoku Gold".

Imagino que al inicio esta consola habra costado 50 dolares, claro que para latinoamerica un poco mas.

la gameboy cuando recien salio costaba lo que cuesta un xbox o una ps3 nueva (osea unos 400 o 500 dolares)

@Jeshu837 A mi me parece exagerado desde luego, no se si por allí seria así, desde luego por aquí no, la portátil más cara que he comprado ha sido al 3ds por 250€ ( y la ultima..), después la dsl, por 165€ importada de japon, la nds por 150€, gbasp o gba por 130€, la gbp y gbc no lo recuerdo, pero rondaría ese precio +-

@Jeshu837 uuuuuuuuh eramos tan pobres como hoy en dia....yo vivo en la frontera de Estados Unidos, asi que en una coppel la gameboy te costaba casi mil Pesos, y En EE.UU si ibas a comprar esos cartuchitos valemadres de la GBA te costaba unos 60 dolares...y si no te gusto el juego perdiste un dineral

This is such great nostalgia. Looking back now I really enjoyed this than the later SP. Aside the improvements for the SP as the rechargeable battery and backlight; the casing of the GBA was way better and cooler. It stirred away from the traditional GB casing.

Am I really weird for liking this original model more than the SP? It would be nice if it had the back lighting but I'm just not a fan of the clam shell design or the button placement. It feels like my hands are cramped on the SP. This just looks cooler and hardier. It looks serious to me. Also I find the shoulder buttons on the sp break easily, these look more stable and solid.

Ahhh, I remember getting a white GBA when I was in 2nd grade... Now I'm a Sophomore in high school, and that GBA is long gone (I sold it, and most of my shitty games, to get a DS, and an GBA SP, later on.). But, now that GBA's are only $20, I'm going to get the Pink one I always wanted :3 (If I got the white one again, I'd bring back terrible memories that I'd rather not talk about... T_T )

This Gameboy sucked and so did the Gameboy color. Nintendo took way too long to bring us a full color backlit screen for the Gameboy. The first good Gameboy was the Advance SP. Game Gear was ten times better than the original Gameboy and it was released only a year after. Don't get me wrong, I had plenty of fun with the original Gameboy when I was a kid but Nintendo could have introduced a screen like the Game Gear way sooner than 2001 if they had wanted to.

@exposed97 ya, i played a dreamcast one time in my life, it belonged to a friend of mine, i tripped over the controller cord and it shattered the end of the controller connector and left pieces in the port, i had to replace it with new parts off ebay.

oh, well, it still works. most video games these days have campaigns that suck and make no sense at all and they last like 1-2 days max. then you play a generic looking multi-player, that is used over and over and over in every game out there!

it was just a gameboy pocket, with a light. and people who own them say they get about 10hrs. play time MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME. How come the Japanese always get the cool stuff? it wasn't until GBA SP that they FINALLY put a light in it. I wish nintendo would go back to their old style (6th gen).

I miss the gamecube and its simple, yet fun games :'-(

This is a horrible handheld. For some reason, the screen is just darker and more vulnerable to glare than other iterations in the gameboy line. Definately get the GBA Sp instead.
