  • This made me wanna cry :(

  • Listen carefully to the end.

  • @AMPED954 A polar bear thanking a guy being eco aware by having a car that is 100% electric. The fully electric cars are making a come back and hope this time it will be permanent. I would like to have a fully electric car like a Nissan Leaf.

  • @AntiVenom36

I ment that it said 100% electric car

  • Does anyone get the point of this commercial????

  • I would like to have a hybrid car to own and drive because it's better for the environment. Thinking what's good and right for the eco-system. ;)

  • @iansomerhald kind off sent me here :)

  • This makes me wanna cry :-(

  • NISSAN! A polar bear set out on a journey to thank him. Fantastic and ecology.

  • so cute!

  • What a cute commercial :)

  • Verry beautiful comercial love it!!

  • wait....don't we burn coal to generate electricity?

  • power plants offer far less emissions for the amount of energy they produce than vehicles (where only ~20% of the gasoline they use becomes power to the wheels of the vehicle, the rest is turned into heat, and emissions are large from all the needless combustion of fuel). Even Coal or oil powered plants offer an advantage.

It is also far easier to reduce emissions from power plants than it is to reduce emissions from each gasoline vehicle on the road.

Some parts of the grid are green now

  • This is one of the sweetest things i've ever seen.

  • THAT IS SO CUTE

  • The end of this video is Beautiful!

  • It's great that car companies are making electric cars, but it would also be nice if they made electric cars a little more affordable.

  • 0:36 yeah.. hes fu*ked

  • ANTIDIESEL.EU :D

  • I WANNA HUG A POLAR BEAR!!!!

  • Don't just think about the greenhouse gases reduction if everybody turned to electric cars. Imagine how clean the cities would be. You could actually live in a city without increase the probability for lung cancer.

  • How the Americans are destroying our planet

    Search For the series

    "THE GREAT DISASTERS"

  • 298 people hate Sherlock Holmes' voiceover!

  • so how big a burn out can u do

  • i wannna hug a polar bear...

  • lol have the guy yell and fun away then hug the car ahahah

  • that must have been sooo soft xP

  • This will make me feel like shit everytime I turn my car on from now on :(

  • Soo cute!

  • NISSAN IS POOP

  • And nobody except that one bus driver sees this?

  • Here's the patent for the self-sustaining (self charging ) electric car. Don't tell anybody.

    1. On-board Three Stage Magnet Generator. Goes to the battery.

    2. Ultra Capacitors and Transformers. Resistors capable of + output.

    3. AC synchronous permanent magnetic motor.

    Advanced Lithium-ion battery pack.

  • @heartlessvietboy Those components will not allow fusion to take place. There will be heat loss.

  • @heartlessvietboy I saw your comment on my profile. Well you are talking about fusion when you are talking about a self charging car; a car that never needs to get power from external sources. Fusion won't happen magically by connecting a motor to the drivetrain, and a generator to the battery, powered by the drivetrain (electric motor). It's a loop and there is heat loss. The battery will drain and fusion will not happen.

  • Just tell us about the car and stop trying to guilt us with that global warming bs

  • @B1ackNinja04 say that again im about 20 years wen the polar ice caps melt intirely

  • @IClarke2974 Give me a break I don't believe that man-made global warming doomsday propaganda. I'm just trying to save money.

  • @B1ackNinja04 wat ever u say

  • 295 people like to pollute.

  • This commercial broke my heart

  • Electric cars receive electricity from power plants that burn coal, which releases greenhouse gases causing acid rain and carcinogenic gases causing harm to humans and animals. Natural gas and other petroleum products are used in power plants which also release large amounts of greenhouse and harmful gases, while causing wars in the Middle East. Nuclear energy is a major origin of electricity in the U.S., and we've seen the results of nuclear energy at Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, and in Japan.

  • @charlespincus Even though it comes from coal. Electric cars use ~90% of the electricity. While gasoline cars use ~20% of its fuel. Now, you can do the calculate!

  • We have a Nissan Leaf, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. I see electric being the way of the future.

  • This is the closest song I found to this:

  • By switching to electric you are effectively switching from Oil to Coal.

  • the only reason an electric car is bad is because of battery life and size.

  • The Nissan Leaf "Drive Electric Tour" , win-a-nissan-leaf competition is FAKE.

The competition is run by a sponsor who is an Ad company. They clearly state in the "official rules" that "Any entry will be eliminated, regardless of vote total, at any time ..."

It doesn't matter how many votes you get for your video, the sponsor will only choose winners based on whether your video and person can provide ad revenue for them.

Don't bother trying to get the most votes possible to win the car.

  • poor dead man....

  • I would buy one, but i cant afford it, at 40K est., its way beond my limit

  • @lockheed12345 no its about 28k

  • @TheSirBadass in Canada its about 38K, check their website at nissan.ca

  • This over a Prius any day.

  • @mikestewart21 there are other ways to create electricity besides coal. they are at least thinking green in a sense that it dosnt produce chlorofluorocarbons and other carbon emissions. this can be the satrt of something big. but it does need improvement

  • nature will remember

  • this commercial gives me goosebumps its sad not only for the polar bear but also because of the fact that its true this is my heart throb commercial

  • great commercial!

  • aaaaawwwwwww i love polar bears they are my favorite animal!

  • great! i'll buy a polar bear :D

  • Global warming is a complete lie. I work for Nissan, and this is just flat out embarrassing. The car, on a more positive note, is worth checking out. You can feel the quality Nissan is known for built into this vehicle, and you won't believe how it feels coming off the line...more powerful than I'd ever have expected.

  • @mobilityability You are partly right. The Globe has been warming and cooling since its formation, last time the ice age ice caps melted there was no oil, no factories, and no pollution, and mammoths still went extinct. But the rate at which the globe is warming is very alarming. so it is partly our fault, and we should investigate what's going on. You are right about the car though...my favorite electric car so far..

  • 06:00 destruyen mi hogar (oso polar)

  • why did you name your commercial leaf

  • This makes wanna cry.. my favorite commercail(:

  • Unlike Chevy/ GM, it's obvious who really is making an effort to sell their electric car

  • polar bears dont even need ice to survive. in fact many experts things there are more polar bears now than in the history of their existance. in canada the polar bear population is so high that there are polar bears eating other polar bears because the competition for food is so high. since polar bears eat plants too you would think global warming would help them uncover alot of plant life, but there are just to many of them. yes global warming exists but they dont need ice.

  • @nickschueller24 y que quieres decir con eso?? que por que hay muchos osos polares ya podemos hacer lo que sea ;) bueno al menos es lo que entiendo

  • @nickschueller24 they need snow and ice to hunt... they are white and its their camouflage and it doesn't works on sand. And when they hunt, they usually expect for seal a hole in the ice. watch animal planet more..

  • not sure if i want to buy a nissan leaf or a polar bear now :)

  • Nissan is AMAZING!!!!

  • One of my favs. Really like this commercial. Awesome job Nissan

  • Sweet polar bear!!!! So cute makes me wanna save the earth from extinction.

  • why did u name your viedio leaf

  • i want an electric car

  • the polar bear is preety cute

  • save the animals :'(

  • Hmm, IF only. I would make sure my elephant gun was handy. I would have meat for the winter and a nice rug to cuddle up on with a babe in front of the fireplace! Yeah, well IF this happened the bear wouldn't HUG the man, he would eat him. Polar bears hunt men regularly. They should be trapped, and saved in zoos. Visited and humored like the animals they are. Oh, geez, I forgot we were talking about Polar bears! The last comment about "zooing" them was if they were liberals! HEh.

  • that was sooooo cute i would like want to buy this car only becuase of this commercial but im not close to 18 lol <3

  • @claton95 saying you read it somewhere isn't a source. Your claim makes zero sense. Post a link to the article...

  • This is wonderful warming commercial. Makes me Polar Bear Happy :)

  • Making the batteries for the batteries for a Nissan Leaf actually adds more C02 to the atmosphere than it does to drive in a regular gas car for 70,000 miles

  • @claton95 source please.

  • @danwat1234 read it in a "popular science" magazine

  • Cars generate hurricane force winds when they travel at 75 miles an hour or more, why not use built-in wind turbines (Like a sea-doo) to catch the wind (using pipes internally inside the car body)? It'd be like using the wind from a hurricane to power your car!

  • @neverlandonearth77

because the amount of resistance caused by those collectors gathering the wind energy would require a much greater horsepower output from the engine to travel at the same speeds. The amount of energy gathered would never (this is a scientific law) equal or exceed the amount of additional energy required. But to your point, yes free energy would be cheaper and more efficient….

  • I'm all for a electric car that maximizes use of every charge, uses solar roofs, and had wind tunnels built into the car so, like a sea-doo channels water through internal pipes and blows out water to propell itself, that wind would travel trough the tunnels and turn turbines, generating a charge. The faster the car travels, the faster the turbune would spin, more charge you'd get. It would also increase aerodynamics! Little mini wind turbines inside the car... Anyone hiring? I need work!

  • @ARealWiseGuys power plants offer far less emissions for the amount of energy they produce than vehicles (where only ~20% of the gasoline they use becomes power to the wheels of the vehicle, the rest is turned into heat, and emissions are large from all the needless combustion of fuel). • I love this!

  • If everyone installed solar panels on their roofs, we could potentially all drive electric cars. Have 2 sets of batteries so you can still charge when you're out during the day. Maybe an extra for cloudy days.

At least it would take some of the burden off the power plants that now have to accommodate charging up all the LEAF's.

  • @Rachman1337 Wrote: "If everyone installed solar panels on their roofs, we could potentially all drive electric cars. Have 2 sets of batteries so you can still charge when you're out during the day. Maybe an extra for cloudy days."

Solar panels on cars - That's a great idea! I wonder if any car companies have ever tried that! I certainly have never thought of that!

  • @BeyondWithinOnline

I meant the garage roof you fucking moron cocksucking idiot faggot.

  • @Rachman1337 It's amazing how there are some people who are big enough dick heads (that's you) in this world that even when someone is saying something nice they still have to be a... Dick Head! You're pretty tough behind you're computer aren't you? No need to respond! It was still a great idea, dick head.

  • now i want to buy that car just to see if a polar bear will hug me :)

  • Awww isn't he gorgeous

  • TESLA SPORTCAR = GREAT ELECTRIC CAR!!!!

  • THE INDUSTRIALIZATIONS ARE MAKING THE MOST OF THE MELT OF POLARS NOT CAR POLLUTIONS. ELECTRIC CARS COULD ONLY DEFEAT LUNG CANCER IF YOU LIVE IN CITY THAT WILL BE LIKE TO LIVE IN MOUNTAIN. THIS COMMERCIAL IS A FAKERY FOR IDIOTS.

  • Anybody know what song this is? Message me or something I asked last year.. not even kidding. Chacha! cant even get it right!

  • I would have probobly shot the polar bear to be honest if it did that to me...

  • The only thing keeping from ecocars is they way they look. Do they all have to look odd like that? Ex Honda Insight, Toyota Prius, Smart cars etc. Why cant they be green and sporty like the Honda CR-Z or that Lexus CT? I would buy a hybrid-powered 350Z. But eh...to each their own...

Electric cars are definitely the future.

  • aawwwww poor polar bear. if i ever find myself driving a nissan leaf and happen to come across a distressed polar bear, i'll make sure to run over it to put it out of its misery.

  • i cant believe the truck driver just casually passes by the bear and doesn't stop and say WTF?

  • I've loved this commercial... i've almost cried... This polar bear hugging to thank the man who tries to help the nature driving this nice car is so cute!!!! ;`-)

  • American River by Jonathan Elias. that's the album, but the whole album is amazing, and sounds very much alike

  • great commercial

  • I thought the commercial was rather cute, though I would have preferred a different ending, perhaps involving a complete mauling of the man by the bear.

  • the 2010-present Nissan Leaf is assembled in

    Japan: Oppama, Tochigi, Yokohama

    United Kingdom: Sunderland (2013)

United States: Smyrna, Tennessee (late 2012)

  • 287 people got mauled by the bear instead :o

  • why does the electric cars dont have gears?? will it be beneficial if they add gears on it?

  • @orika001 electric cars doesn't need gears. speed is controled by rising or decreasing electric power. its like train

  • 287 global warming denialists voted on this.

  • Global warming

  • Do a search for the original commercial (for Minnesota Lottery, called "Bear") where they probably got the idea from. Nissan won't allow the link to that YouTube video to be posted here. Shame Nissan wasn't original.

  • Cute commercial, but I don't see the connection between plugging an electric vehicle into a coal generated power supply and saving polar bears. I guess we're to assume everyone's connected to the make believe renewable energy electric grid at home. Nice idea, but not really based in reality.

  • LOL the coca cola bear was in the wrong commercial

  • this is amazing commercial, i'm speechless.....

  • i love this

  • 100% electric! Environmentally friendly because we get most of our electricity from environmentally friendly sources... right?? Right?!? Or should we just not think about that...?

  • @pretzelzetzel

Even if its 100% from coal, the electric engine will still only use 50% compared to the the ICE

  • 286 Republicans Watched This.

  • @thetwinkleturnip Haha!Nice one!

  • I think not sure but i think that guy in the brown jacket is the same guy from the gas pwred everything commercial who had a leaf. man they can't find a different guy. those fuckers aren't selling. it would help if they put them in nissan showrooms with the rest of the cars. also I think it will help when there are hundreds of them used on cars.com in every state. 300,000 miles on a two year vehicle that costs around 20,000 means nothing to me when there is only a handful of moving parts.

  • Honda Hydrogen FC > LEAF/Volt/Prius/Diesel > Oil

  • @nagasako7 Hydrogen is usually made through the electrolisis of water, which takes a lot of electricity. Then, on a Hydrogen powered car, you have to use fuel cells to once again convert the hydrogen into electricity for the electric drivetrain of the car. It is very inefficient to convert back and forth like this. Straight up electric cars ftw

  • This is a cute commercial.

  • that must be how polar bears got on the lost island

  • does anybody know the name of the song?

By the way, lovely comercial... I saw it million times...

  • People need to fucking buy bucketloads of these cars so that my gas prices drop.

  • @sushlet

it might have the opposite effect. (maybe)

  • grizzly bear prefers a tesla .....

  • lovely Polar, but a Greezly may prefers a Bimmer :)

  • Hahaaha amazing

  • Actually its the JEWISH Media Dictatorship that is Killing the Electric Car & other Green Technologies -

Media which is totally under Jewish Control and Dictatorship

has put a 1000% Censorship on Electric Car and Maglev Train and other Green Technologies

Jewish Media is more Concerned about whether Monika Lewinski gave a perfect *** Job to Bill Clinton or Not -

whether Paris Hilton brushed her teeth today or Not --- thats the News u hear

Not about Electric Car OR Maglev Train or Green Tech

  • 286 oil executives dislike this ad.

  • Electric cars need power. Power is generated in power plants. The vast majority of power plants in the world are coal-fired.

    Think about it...

  • @tommyrw2 Everytime your mom farts, she generates power. I use that to power my Volt.

  • @tommyrw2 I know it's like we're trying to go back in time and make the same mistakes

  • @wowbringer

using electricity may still pollute, but its a step forward. Now we just have to make ways of making energy without pollution. After that, were set.

And even tho its electric and still pollutes, its better then gas, so no matter what its a step forward.

  • The leading cause of smug.

I would say that you should cycle to work, or better yet, work locally to where you live so that you can walk to work. It produces far, far fewer emissions than petrol or electric auto-mobiles, and has the added benefit of reducing your individual risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other obesity-related diseases.

  • LOL. He's at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur, California.

  • i want to hug a polar bear too :/

  • @crazychicalauren

yea well, good luck staying alive after that....

  • brilliant commercial btw, good job Nissan!

  • 音楽がせつね~

  • suck my balls hippies
