hi, i was wondering how exactly do you get in to those folders (Mobile,library,media)

You have to "SSH" into your device with an FTP, or SFTP client. There are applications out there to download to do this. You have a few choices, depends if you have MAC or PC also.

You can use WinSCP, or CuteFTP Pro, are the main two I know of. Then there is CyberDuck, DiskAID and a few others.

You have to have your device jailbroken, and have SSH installed.

You can also use MobileFinder to access these folders directly from your device (ipod/iphone) itself.

I have v. .31 on my iappcat repo. (However, it says package download failed).

HOWEVER,

v. .34 didnt work as far as the iTunes import is concerned.

SO,

I found iSlsk.app on the internet (v.31) so I manually installed it via SSH and it works fine now.

ALSO,

there is a thing in my iappcat repo that says "Firewire GUID problem fix." This may fix the "cant import to iTunes error." although I cant confirm this.

Not sure what your asking. Are you talking about AFTER or BEFORE the torrent is made into a movie or music. When you download a torrent it should be saved in your var/root/downloads, or var/root/media/downloads. Then when the torrent is done it will be exported from Torrentula and sent to your var/mobile/media/downloads. Once you DL a torrent you should be able to go into Torrentula and click import and it should be there.

Thats all there is to it.

Type in my command to forward downloads.

Oh I know why, go to settings of mobile finder and make sure that you are seeing all folders, from the root user and the mobile user. It only displays var/mobile (HENCE MOBILE FINDER) so you have to go to settings and click "Show all files" or something to that affect and you will see your var/root/downloads.

Type in the command in description to foward downloads from var/root/downloads to var/mobile/downloads.

Try these things please. I was confused before.

im using winscp to enter the codes and im on 1.1.4 and is that code used to transfer downloads int var/mobile/downloads or do i always have to transfer the files from var/root/downloads in v/m/downloads

You need to be using a terminal to enter the codes in. Use Term VT100 which is found in installer. Dont use WinSCP, thats not what you need. This command is so that your downloads, ex. torrents, music, etc, will be transferred (on 1.1.3 and 1.1.4) from var/root/downloads to var/mobile/downloads. DO THIS, or just manually move the file everytime you want to use Torrentula. I hope this made sense.

What firmware are you? If 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 you have two download spots, var/root and var/mobile. The earlier firmwares have just var/root. You have to know about ssh, files and folders to know what Im talking about.

Listen dude, this only works for you because your on 1.1.4. The plugin from installer didnt work for me on 1.1.3. So this is why I found a different download plug in.

Your right. Different plug ins work for different firmwares. However, I have had people tell me that it worked for them on 1.1.4. So it must just be your device or the way you jailbroke it.

Also, why did you uninstall and reinstall torrentula, you dont need to do that to change the plug in. Just change it and leave torrentula installed.

See the plug in worked for you because you got to the download screen. If it didnt work it would say "safari cant download this file" but it couldnt save DL.

converter pro has been acting up on me, i dont know what it is. I had a 300 mb file which normally would take like 2 hours to convert, it converted real quick but I couldnt find the original or converted file after it said it was done. SO if you installed it awhile ago and havent messed with it since then check it out.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but had no luck, can someone confirm that converter pro works for them. It doesnt work for me. However, I relocated my apps using boss tool to free disk space. I think that might be the problem. Because when you install it it sets all these special permissions. install Boss Prefs Safari DL control. Its in the installer sources. Its not the plugin its the control of the plugin i have in the description for you. You use this to turn it on or off. If you wanna leave it on all the time then dont worry about it.

Did you try the iClarified plugin for torrent files. It might not work for torrents, only mp3s. Thats how most of the plug ins are. This is the only one ive found to use that works on torrents. Someone confirmed that it works on 1.1.4 so Im not sure. Let everyone on here know if the iclarified works just as well. Thanks a lot buddy.

Type the command in just as I have it in the video description. you access the torrents after theyve been downloaded with the mobile finder application. Message me for more specific help

probably because its an AVI or MPEG. You need to convert the file using converter pro. Convert whatever file it is to MP4. After you have done that double tap on the MP4 file in mobile finder and AV player will open it up.
