  • I remember this song comforting me after watching this flick....my sisters took me to see it at a double feature & the fight scene at the end scared the shit out of me....but when this song came on, I stopped being scared. Its one of the songs that inspired me to become a songwriter myself.Lovely.10 people together cant write tunes like this anymore.

  • @Oreeyemma Perhaps you are listening to the wrong people.

  • @FakeApology I should have speculated on what I actually meant.I'm meant the stuff on the radio these days.....all the good bands arent famous nowadays....theres too much nonsense

  • @Oreeyemma Eh, that's true. It's all subjective anyway.

  • I have always LOVED this sweet little love song....the movie was so good but the ending is so hard to take...thanks for posting this gem.

  • Why do you sit on a copyright, when you apparently never plan to use it?

  • @unclesalts depends on the terms of the copyright

  • I saw this movie on youtube for the first time in 35 years or so, before the copyright police took it down. I had always remembered it as a great film, but I thought my adolescent hormones might have made me think so. I am approaching 50 now, and it is still a great movie.

  • This movie needs to be shown or available to buy on dvd.

  • I was touched by that movie...and this song...It's hard to find it out there on dvd.

  • They took the chance, risked it all & paid the price because of the shallow minded & ignorant.

  • This is a beautiful song that is so appropriate for this tragic love story. I own the movie and never get tired of watching it.

  • Still gets to me. I saw the movie...was low budget, but, sooo very moving!!

  • Such a haunting, lovely, simple love song sung with a lot of emontion yet restrained, Billie was such a tragedy in so many was in this movie, such a loner, horrible parents, withdrawn, until Buster comes along, if only they could have left together and started over .......................

  • the story of love no matter.pure and simple.the movie was so sad.

  • I had to look really hard to find this gorgeous song.......I love it still, all these years later. I loved the film too.

  • This song STILL makes me cry!

  • It's really great to hear this song again, I just wish the movie version was available on cd. This is a lovely song from a highly underrated movie.

  • Thanks so much for posting this fakeapology, I hadn't heard this since I first saw the film "Buster and Billie" and bought the 45 record many years ago. The record is long gone, so I really appreciate you putting this out there.

  • This theme song is one of those haunting ones..makes you remember the movie.
