  • And what if Ghandi was an imperfect human being, and a product of his times? Ghandi was the first to admit he was flawed. What was of utter import with Ghandi was his espousal of peaceful, non-violent resistance. He, like Thoreau and Martin Luther King, Jr. offer an ethos that can only prove to be the salvation against tyranny.

    The Indians are all noble and well-balanced.

    The British are all thick and naive!

    It should be in black and white!

    Why don´t they show a balanced view of Ghandi?

    He was chums with Muslims (posh ones) but he would hardly sit down and eat out of the same dish as an "untouchable". Class will out. He was more like an English person of his class than an ordinary Indian.

    There is no history more lacking in balance than this "politically correct" stuff!
