could hear the hum of the ceiling fan in the background!!.. love those old mg trains...one of my fondest childhood memory of those oldtrains is those hemispherical yellow light ..and the same light in dark blue,extra as a night lamp in the first class compartment!!..no more to be found in today's BG rakes..sad!!

Yes, I am a Tamilian but never really lived in the South. Was born in Varanasi, and live there and in Bombay before coming over to US. I visited Mysore couple of years back with my family. What a beautiful and quiet city.
