  • You've given the clearest, most comprehensive account of cp I've found.

(And thank you again for the thoughtful reply to my earlier message)

  • I watch ur vids and I have to say I look up to u :) it makes me happy to see that people arent making any rude comments or anything (:

  • @musicluver1426 thanks! unfortunately, i have gotten rude comments but i require approval before any comments r posted so i can get rid of the bad ones :-)

  • hello ,

you really make me happy :D my brother has cerebral palsy too but as you said its slightly diffrent because he can not walk talk or eat but i worry sometimes also but when i see you i can tell that he is ok x thank you xxx hope you are ok too xxxxx

  • you are such an inspiration!

    Rock on, girl! :)

  • Best Explanation I've heard on youtube yet Nice Job.

  • Hello,

I am just wondering how much control you have of your upper body? Do you have any control over your left hand when you really think about if?

Do you have more control over your arms or leg ?

You mentioned you possibly would like to have children some day? Would you be able to focus hard enough to do like changing a babies diaper? Can you reach out and crab things with your hand?

Are you able to get out of your chair at all un assisted if you try really hard?

  • @foothills1008 I have maybe 40% control over my right arm and about 90% control over my left arm. I don't have very much control over my right arm no matter how hard I focus on controlling it.

I would say that out of all four limbs, I have the most control over my left arm.

it doesn't matter how hard I focus on something, there are just some things I'll never be able to do without help. 1 of them is taking care of a baby. I would have to hire help. yes, i can reach and grab things.

  • @foothills1008 nope, I'm not able to get out of your chair at all unassisted, or at least not without injury that is.

  • Nicole! I understand why you would use your communication device in videos like these. But i really enjoy when you use your own voice. Please show a video of you walking again. Maybe show us how you maneuver around your house or room. I love when you do more personal videos like that. One more, show us how you do everyday tasks like turning on the tv and getting in your chair without help. :) great job girl!

  • @AphroBeauty hey Kelli! thanks for the suggestions! Maybe I'll do an "around my room" video & show how I operate my tv & stereo & how i get in & out of bed. unfortunately, getting in (& out) of my chair without help isn't possible without injury. It would probably sound like this: *THUD!* "ow." :-)

  • Wow, botox? Glad I never had to use that one.I have many conditions, and i am strapped in a powerchair, and use a left hand controller. My doctors are not always sure what all my conditions are do to. This is a good videio on CP.

  • wow nice to see u again it's been a long time.

  • this video is very good

  • YAY! Nicole is back! :) Good Job Girl!

  • hey looking good! <3

  • Beautiful you ! God bless your heart. :)

    Daniel

  • heyyyyyy cHICKYbOO, YEAH HAVEN'T SEEN YOU FOR A WHILE. You been AWOL! :-D missed you. I see you've been doing just fine. I have another subby who has cp and posts. Her name is Charisse and tube is Jazzygirl. She is able to walk and run and she posts about things she's able to do and/or how she might need to adapt things to accomplish a task. She's sweet. Hope your weather is more favorable than what I have here is Florida. H O T! ewww scorcher day. Take care. keep posting. :-D

  • Another great video; wish you could make them more often, but I'm sure you are busy with other things. I don't have, nor do I know anyone personally with CP, but I have learned a lot from your videos.

I think you are doing a great service to show that people with CP (and people with other issues) are just as "normal" as anyone else. Your videos are a great way to educate people, who are otherwise too shy to ask, about the issues that you discuss. You are truly beautiful, inside and out.

  • ^_____^ Great to have you back and thank you for the explaining CP I have a better undterstanding now :) hope you having a awesome day! :) Take Care :)

  • Its very remarkable that you are sitting so quite and peaceful until you do something with your left arm... then your body seems to 'object' ;). Btw, you look great! :)

  • As informative as always.Keep up the good work. Cheers!

  • I myself have CP and it's mild. I can't remember exactly what caused mine, most likely a cause of my own premature birth. This is a wonderful video. I favorited it. :)

  • Omg. Long time no see. You look great.
