Is that the x-pipe that comes with the Corsa exhaust? Cuz mine sounds a bit quieter than this, but then again I just installed it two days ago.

DO NOT GET THIS EXHAUST!!!!!!!

Two main problems with it:

1)While it doesn't drone at highway speeds, it DRONES LIKE MAD AT IDLE!!!!!

2)when accelerating, it's not until you get over 2,500 rpms that it sounds like a V8...up to then, it makes it sounds like a frickin' honda civic.

Trust me!! I just wasted a boatload of money on this stupid setup!!!!!!

Who cares if i drones at idle? And who are you trying to impress at 2,500 RPM? Those are horrible reasons.

Horrible reasons? No, they are not. Think about it....we spend a LOT of time at idle: every stop sign, every red light, in the drive thru, in the line waiting to get out of the parking garage, yadayadayada....and unless you live your life at the dragstrip and don't do normal acceleration in every day driving, the "buzzing" it makes in low rpms sounds horrible. Why do you think no one's posted an in-car driving video for this system yet?

I understand your points, But i am not buying a G8 for it to be a compared to a Mercedes, even more so if i am throwing an aftermarket exhaust on it. If it bugs you that much, sell it, or throw a resonator on there.

Actually, I had the muffler guy throw the stock pipes back on there, and he adapted the corsa mufflers to them, and now it sounds great! Still hums loudly at idle, but no longer a drone....and acceleration now has a deeper rumble with rpm definition. Seriously, Corsa should do an axleback if it sounds like this (might be too quiet for some, but sounds just fine to me now).

From what I hear and what I've read, get the Borla system....sounds better than this setup and costs less too.
