@danpt2000 I just noticed that my comment won't disappear among the torrents of other comments, so I'll extend upon my statement. Since the Cold War has ended, the people of the world focus on the atrocities America has committed during that time period as the U.S.S.R. is dissolved and can now no longer be viewed as accountable for some reason.

Also, the U.S., as 5% of the world's population, produces about 25% of its total GDP, so i would check your sources.

Why has the audio been so awful recently?

There are no visual content (other than occasional hand gestures) in these particular video series; so, this may as well be talk radio. In fact, I usually get these videos started and multitask while listening to this audio.
