Muito obrigado pelos comentários. O Elan foi o meu sonho de adolescente quando os via correr e sonhava também correr. O grande trumfo destes carros era o reduzido peso (605/610kgs) mas que também obrigava a acertos de suspensão similares aos fórmulas, e foi aí que consegui uma grande vantagem, por me ter dedicado e aprendido muito sobre set-ups em inúmeros livros. Decidi vender, porque na altura achei oportuno deixar de correr, mas afinal sempre continuei, embora de forma menos intensa.

Muito bom o video. Tive o prazer de o ver pilotar diversass vezes nesses anos. O 26R é um dos meus carros preferidos de corrida e o seu era assombroso!! Conte-nos mais sobre o carro; de onde veio? como é que andava tanto? - A parte triste da estória, como foi possível vende-lo?..era mesmo necessário? A. barbosa..e agora o P. FIns..o carro continua tão bom que até o Fins faz bons resultados..ooops.!! uma pena... viva o Elan para sempre no nosso imaginário. Bem haja.

@JakobusVdL Thank you Jim, that car was fantastic and my dream car when I watched races in the 60´s before I could drive. This car is now back to racing with another driver and I believe he is enjoying a lot too.
