i was in destin one time and it lookmed just like that. the elevators broke and i was crying because i tought my sister and dad died on the elevator, i was like 10

I used to work the beach chairs when i was younger, and i would HATE to see that sight rolling in. We couldn't start putting the chairs away until we got the call.. which was usually right when it started to downpoor. A few times I was affraid for my life because of the lightning... carrying 7 foot metal umbrellas 10 at a time 100 yards in the open sand in a lightning storm is not my idea of fun. I remember seeing an umbrella I had not put up yet get taken by the wind 100 or so yards straight

Yes,it is always amazing to see a storm move in off the Gulf of Mexico!So,if you want to see the best beaches in the world go to Fort Walton Beach or Destin Florida!

This looks like it was taken at the Coral Reef condo, down the road from the bowling center :P

The Coral Reef condo was ruined several years ago by the hurricane. It still is there (as of a year ago or so) but it is uninhabitable, and is condemned. This is actually right in front of Crystal Villas, which was two condo's down from Coral Reef. Nice guess ;)

The Coral Reef Condo has been rebuilt for about 6 or 7 months now. I'll be going there in a few weeks. Was my favorite before Hurricane Dennis decided to be a jerkface and ruin the fun.
