I loved, loved Sandie in the 60s. Wanted to look like her! That cool, sixties laid back chic. Little touch of the kooky bohemian (those bare feet). Yes, there were better singers, but Sandie had that special something which English girls of a certain type had in the Sixties, a kind of minimalist, understated class. Swinging straight cut hair, simple mini skirt, bare feet. English accent. Quietly cool and confident. Perfect

Ah well shouldn't compare them- total different chics vocally and physically.Sandie has a lot of class and finess and chic Dusty is ugly masculine (drag queen like) and super trash.Both have fabulous voices - don't judge Sandie by this stupid song; listen to "Ask Any Woman" and you'll see what I mean! I'm a fan of both ladies.Dusty had more mature songs (she was 10 years older than the others).I met her back stage and I wish I hadn't -she looked a bloody transvestite!!!
