Nothing negative but you should listen to Earl Bostic "Up in Orbit". He taught Coaltrane a few tricks.Coaltrane was in Earl Bostic's Band at one time.
Is this tenor saxophone a solid sterling silver one in the design of the Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Series III A64. I notice the number ends in 64: TS-64SS.
I have a Rare Hardware Co Ltd in this design in the extra thick 0.8mm solid sterling silver and it easily outplays my vintage King Super 20 Silversonic serial no. 719736 which I have owned since new and bought in 1978 with the extras solid bright silver plating and gold wash inside bell.
At this price range, I am hard pressed to think of a better Saxophone... A lot of the other horns that come from the same part of the world are now priced at $2500-$4500... That really makes this a GREAT DEAL... Try one, if you don't like, send it back!!!
@snowypetrel Increased range. Better voicing pallatte for developing phrasing, being able to gliss without moving your fingers(typically more appropriate.)
