@ibyl Thank you! No, I don't knit. I want to learn. The funny thing is I learned using a CD and taught my son. However, I need to refresh my memory. It seems harder but when I look at patterns they read easier. Weird huh? LOL! Thanks for commenting.
freedomplease, Can you explain me what stichs you used in the crochet blanket, and how can start with how much stich, then the increases and dicreases and the join from the circle to the square and finally the border and the join???, Thanks
@mavlemail I made the blanket with granny squares. You should check out the tutorial by @tjw1963. The link is within the description section. She explains and shows how to crochet the granny square. I connected the squares with single crochet and the border is done with a round of single crochet, round of double crochet, and ending with two rounds of single crochet.
@Elvis66 Thank you. I now run to YouTube to catch her videos. I started crocheting over 20 years ago but I wanted to try new things. I now watch her tutorials and find old pattern books.
@rjhanson07 Thank you. I had doubts, but my daughter can kill a crochet blanket like no other. LOL! I wanted to connect the squares and strengthen the blanket as well.
@Songbirde01 She loves it. I actually started the project for a fundraiser and she started begging for it early. LOL! I made the video so that she could take ownership of it. (smile)
You did an awesome job on the purple blanket! So very pretty!

It is beautiful! Do you knit as well? What's the main difference between crochet and knitting?
