yes sounds just like a dodge viper. maybe it is because the dodge viper is a v10 which is basically twice an inline 5 and almost twice the size if that makes sense
Maybe you should try some 4.10's in the rear if you're gonna run an open header because these engines are slow as piss without backpressure! lol I did it on my rado... You are absolutely right about 3rd gear when running an open header. If you run straight exhaust, 3" exhaust is too big. A full 2.5" exhaust is perfect IMO. You still have your low end torque and you get the right balance of power.
sweet. i just finished with my custom intake and ram air mods on my rodo. Its so much faster. Raced a 4.6gt mustang from a 70mph roll. we were neck and neck untill 95, after i hit 3rd then govener kickd in. Ill post my mods soon.
@bobbybob using HP tuners software, a laptop someone with tuning knowledge can remove it. Or any dyno/ tuning capable shop can also do it

Thats all we did was remove the limiter.. the truck isn't fully tuned, needs it badly tho
