athletes earn every cent that they make... in fact, their owners take like 60% of the pie, when it should be going to the guys who actually play and coach. But they literally earn every cent, if you have a problem with how much they make then stop buying Oreos, shampoo, cars, transit passes, televisions, shoes, or anything else advertised on t.v. broadcasts or at the stadium.
It is ridiculous that taxpayers pay for privately owned stadiums though.... that is is just highway robbery

Oh man, it is SO easy to blow millions on car dealerships. Look at John Elway. I know he has a few successful dealerships, but he moved right in and bought a bunch of new ones (including one that I worked for). He bought the dealership, even though sales were very poor, and dumped a ton of money into advertising and other things to raise business.
I guess it never dawned on him that the sales might not improve because it lasted only about 6 months before he sold it at a huge loss.
