I watched other post and videos and they looked..... well kinda difficult, you guys gave me confidence by being so calm and relaxed, no tech shop but in your home and on your dining room table.... I live in Miami, Fl and they wanted to charge me $200.00 to $300.00, and with your help I was able to find the bad capacitors and replace them for 0.95 each @ Master Distributors in Miami, Fl, Victor helped me... Great guy

God bless you and your Family.... Thank you..

  • thank you very much, TV is fixed, works perfectly, saved hundreds of dollars. awesome.

  • Dear Professor. Fantastic video! One question...how can I be sure my capacitors are discharged? If not, is there a way I can safely discharge them (e.g., touch with a well-insulated screwdriver) without busting anything?

  • Thanks so much -- your video along with others helped me to fix my TV today. I only wish I had done it much sooner! I would suggest maybe a bit more detail on soldering, but other YouTube videos helped with that -- mine still looked terrible, but I hope it will hold up!

  • This was very helpful. Thanks. I was just about to throw my tv out when i came

    across your video.

  • Dude you are awesome. Love your fam too!!

  • I had to go to Amazon.com to order 2 capacitors, I could not find them locally. I was able to replace them successfully using your video as a guide. Appreciate it, my 46" Samsung HDTV is back to normal!

  • From vetco electronics in Bellevue WA.

  • bs for me. i didn't solder the capacitor i waited 2 weeks for online correct. i can't find them in stores and i want a replacement ASAP. does anyone know what store they sell them? i really want MY tv fixed right away. i wanna play my games and watch tv in my ROOM peacefully. its been 4 months my tv hasn't worked!!!!

  • @xxXunknownguy9Xxx go to a local tv repair store or a local electrical supply store and bring in your old capacitors. The guy at my local repair shop knew of the common issue and let me to the right capacitors

  • @hunterwnelson Wow. I wish there was those types of stores around me. All i live near is radioshack and walmart. I'll look for a repair shop around here though. Thanks

  • @xxXunknownguy9Xxx if you nead a 200uf 10v cap and radio shack only have 200 uf 16v or 200 uf 25v you can use them. the uf nead to be the same if you isntall a 16 or 25v 30v.... it will work to sorry my inglish

  • Seems easy by looking at it, I hope it will be as easy when doing it myself :))

  • awesome tutorial. took us 4 hours only because we had to drive around town looking for the right capacitor (radio shack doesnt carry it.) under an hour and $10 bucks to fix. fantastic! thank you

  • @jaytilakproductions cool where did you get yours. i waited 2 weeks on amazon for mine and i didn't solder it correct. i would like to buy another one in a store asap.

  • Thank you so much. This was such a huge help. 20 buck repair

  • @hunterwnelson cool how im trying to get another one.

  • My Tv is turning on then turning off.. sometimes i get picture and static mostly.. could this be the same problem?

  • Thanks! You've provided a great service to a lot of people. I was able to repair my TV with your help. I also made the comment to my wife what a great Dad you are. Totally came through.

  • Thanks for sharing this video, now it's time for me to get to work on my TV. Great family work!

  • This tutorial saved me big money. I had no experience working on electronics and it worked perfectly in one try. So much more helpful than Samsung!! And the toddler is adorable. Thank You.

  • Awesome video, what a great family work! Congrats man!

  • Wow, what a great Dad you are! You dealt with your "assistant" so perfectly. I will be repairing my TV with the info in the video but your example is also a great lesson in parenting. Thanks!

  • Thank you for the video! I was able to fix my Samsung LN-T4669F. It had two leaking 2200uf 10V 105C Caps. There were only two and both were blown. I was able to replace them with 2 2200 16V 105C Caps. Reassembled and now my TV works great again! Starts up like a champ and no more clicking. It had been taking 10 minutes to start for the past month and today would not even start at all. TV was out of warranty so I was not happy. I am now. Thank you!

  • @johnny0216 where did you get a 2200uF 16 V 105C cap from?!!!

  • i need help changed 4 caps on my tv have not put the back panel back on, tried to power up the tv and got no video audio or power chime

  • Thanks! This helped a lot. I got my Samsung LCD TV repaired for less than $20 and it works like new! Great!

  • great video, very helpfull, you just saved my inlaws some money, made me look like a hero!!! thanks again

  • THANKS A BUNCH! I haven't worked on electronics in almost a decade (old Navy ET) but I'm willing to give it a shot to fix this.

QUESTION FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WITH THESE LCDs: I have the LN-T4661F and in addiction to the clicking and power cycling, my screen goes dim on one side from time to time/most of the time. I have to jack up the backlight and brightness to see things clearly but it's still noticeable on one side of the screen. Has anyone figured this one out?

  • THANKS SO MUCH! Fixed my friend's tv with your video as a guide and now I'm a big hero.

  • Thanks for making this video,

I have the same screen in a Europeen version made in Hungary, Samsung LE 37M86BDX, its smaller but the out and inside are almost the same. The cheap capacitors on the AC/DC must be an American only problem, i never found any problems related to the Europeen version.

But many thanks, if ever something will go rong on the AC/DC i now i can try to fix it. I Like milo making Teletubbie comments, so cool.

  • you don't think you need to keep away your kid when you use hot tool like soldering iron ? and also to keep him for the noise he doing .

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! YOU helped me save hundreds of dollars and keep my Samsung TV. Your video was just enough encouragement for me to attempt the repair myself and it worked. ((((BIG HUG))))) -- Cathy

  • Your son made it more realistic in my case. Thanks for taking the time.

  • Useful video, but it would have been nicer without the kid.

  • Easy fix with this how to! Perfect for anyone who has no clue what they are doing. Thanks for the great video!

  • Great Video, gonna try this on my 52" LCD, got the back off and 2 caps are bulging. A trip to Maplins and this is back on the wall. Thanks very much.

  • THANKS for the video ! I have a different SAMSUNG HDTV LCD , and aparently the problem is the same ! SO either Samsung has poor engeneering , or they just don't care about it due to the high number of sales the last couple of years ! I changed the capacitors and I used higher voltage due to several forum recommendations ! Let's see how longer it will last ! Greetings from Portugal !

  • I am now a hero at my home! thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • I just fixed my TV a few minutes ago and used this video for reference. Who knows how much money I saved... I'm very happy I was able to do it myself as I've never done anything like this.

Thanks for the video to help all of use who've been burned by Samsung.

  • Thanks for great vid. Hi to helper and lovely wife. My Samsung has near same symptoms - comes on, then goes off after 0.5 second. The caps are not bulging. Do you think I should replace them or is this something different?

  • can you replace it with a second hand one ,with same values ?

or should it be new capacitors?

  • @zakyboss use new capacitors. it's not like there expensive

  • @JohnRLewis84 its difficult to find it here (belgium) , i used other from another machine and it didnt work

  • hey have you checked the diodes they can go bad too

  • Awesome post. Just finished fixing my 52" Samsung and it is as good as new. I am a absolute rookie when it comes to this stuff. If I can do it so can you!!!!

    Thanks a million

  • Like most of the posters below - you just saved me at least $100.

Now I just hope my sh*tty soldering skills stand up to the test...

  • @aGunsligner same... I hope i don't fuck it up even more lol

  • Comment removed

  • you saved me from buying at new tv. I spent 25 bucks for the parts and A SOLDER KIT and now my tv is like new!!!!! YOU ARE FRICKIN AWESOME MY MAN! Thanks again and god bless your SKILZZZZZZZZZZZ!

  • Thank you so much for this great video. I have never soldered in my life, but today I decided to give it a try. With your very easy instructions and great little helper I fixed my TV for 50 danish kroner (ca. 9$). Thanks!!!

  • How do u know wich caps are bad?

  • @bjspeedybuggy Just google "bad capacitor"

  • Thank you very much, flawless TV repair thanks to you and your helper!!

  • I watched your video Saturday night. Removed three blown caps Sunday morning but didn't find them at Radio Shack. Store was closed for July 4th celebrations so had to wait until today. Got three capacitors: $3.42. Came home home and in less than 30 minutes my TV (Samsung 40" 530) was back on. You just saved me over $200. Gracias a usted y a su pequeño ayudante. Keep up the good work!

  • Man your old lady has some huge tittys. I'm jealous.

  • I have the same TV as bugler34 but sadly, replacement capacitors did not fix my issue. Samsung actually sent a technician to my house to replace the capacitors free of charge (I disassembled my TV to ensure the work was done since I wasn't home at the time). The technician told my wife that a part needs to be replaced but he neglected to say which one. I'm assuming the power supply needs to be replaced but hell, I'm not an electrical engineer so I'm just guessing...

  • Bet u anit changed the epprom as well have u. Most set like this have the caps and epprom go. Thats when u know ur a proper engineer when u can change a smd!!!!!!

  • Thanks!!

  • I just wanted to say thank you. Using your video, I was able to repair my Samsung LN46 A550 for $4. Really the only difference from your tv was that my motherboard had no protective cage and there were two screws located in the little recess for all the input hooks up. My bad capacitors were located at 852 and 853 on the board for anyone else having the same tv.

  • Thank you so much! My Samsung LN52A750 was turning off and on at startup for the past 4 days and then yesterday after 3 hours of off/on I just unplugged it. I had a Samsung rep scheduled to come out on Wed for $100 (diagnostic, NOT fix) but instead I saw your video and never having soldered before in my life, it helped me a lot! Went to RadioShack and picked up about $30 worth of materials, spent about 1hr of work and now it works! THANKS!!

  • thanks...

  • wish you were local. I could use the help

  • How did u tell the other caps that didn't have the puff was bad?

  • @WizzoPro9476 The caps that wasn't puffed were ok he don't know what the fuck he on about mate. If u got a samsung take it to an engineer. I really hate do it urself people. Because they fuck it up and expect me to fix it for a low price!!!!!

  • @samfitzy8 whatever. u charge like 200 - 700 dlls to fix it. Then you never say what is wrong? Why? cuz it doesn't take a genius to fix it, just a small detail! it's like fixing a car. it doesnt take a mechanical engineer to fix it. only a mechanic! Now who is going to pay that money? its all technical shit. do it yourself people kick ass. And yea he may have changed caps that were good. He said he wasnt an expert. But if they cost centts why not!?

  • U need a solder sucker or solder absorber braids at least!

  • Cool vid bro, love the helper.

    :)

  • This fixed my TV! You are awesome dude. We are not electricians and it was EASY just went to Fry's like you and bought the parts & solder for $34.00 in an hour done. You rock THANKS

  • i need to repaeir the antenna cable pluget

  • I'm certainly no electrician, but after googling the problem I found this video. So I plucked up the courage to take the back off and found that the capacitors were indeed leaking fluid as described. With my new $15 soldering iron and $4 worth of capacitors from the local electronic store, I followed your instructions and the Samsung TV has been resurrected! You sir, are a legend!

  • what is the wire that u used to melt?

  • samsung ln40c530f1fxza does not click but does the same as explained wont turn on just the red light blinks

  • in less than an hour and a half I took the TV down, back off, went to The Shack, bought soldering iron, and 4 capacitors came home replaced them put it back together and boom goes the dynamite it work better than new!!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $26.00!!!

  • Thank you,Thank you,Thank you The vids were EXCELLENT! My 52" was doing this same thing, I had to replace all 5 caps, i used a 25v at a cost of $1.25 USD each. $6.63 including tax. And thank you to Samsung on helping me decide on which brand NOT to buy the next time I am looking to purchase a new TV

  • @Eyeball25 believe it or not this is a common issue among all LCD/plasma televisions. Samsung is a very good brand when in the market to purchase a television. I wouldn't completely right them off because of this one small issue but I understand your frustration I'm going through the same thing right now to but no brand is 100% perfect...

  • Thanks man! I fixed my LNT4665F yesterday. It's working great now (fingers crossed). Mine only had 3 caps and I replaced them with 1000uF, 16V, 105C, low ESR Panasonic caps, part number EEUFR1C102 (71 cents ea.). I don't really understand the difference between using 10V, 16V, 25V, 35V etc., but so far so good. The soldering can be a little tricky if you've never done it (like me), but the whole job still only took me about 2hrs with a lunch break included. Saved me big time!

  • hey thanks : ) This video tutorial helped a lot and made it possible for me to repair my lcd tv. Saved me a ton of money and grief. You're a life saver! Or a tv saver.. you know.. whichever.

  • You don't normally clean the flux due to its conductivity. You clean it off because eventually it will collect moisture which will corrode the joints.

  • I meant I called samsung damn autocorrect.

  • So my 52" was coming on with a scrambled picture and turning itself off and on again only to turn itself off and repeating this 4-5 times until it worked so I called sanding and they sent a repair man out to look at the capacitors only to tell me it wasn't the capacitors well today it is doing exactly as this video shows. Any ideas is it the capacitors?

  • Thanks a bunch this helped me allot!

  • Thanks mate. This fix worked a treat for $2.60 AUD... a vast saving on the quoted $200 by a TV repair company. I didn't have the room to fit the larger 16v capacitor, so just replaced two capacitors with the same specifications of those I had removed. With any luck I will enjoy a few more years of viewing yet. Cheers.

  • your cool to fix that

  • excellent work man

  • This was a great help buddy. Thanks for having time to post it ! by the way you have an excellent crew!

  • this video is great tks for your time to post it man!

  • I just did this! I got the LN40A750. I replaced two capacitors. I bought a bunch on ebay. It took a week to arrive. The kids were going crazy without a TV! But now they are all happy! They can play again! This video was great! I followed it and everything went perfectly!

  • Yaaaaay! Unfortunately I can't do this myself, but now I know how the repairman is going to do it ;)

  • Actually, it's the very same TV, just didn't see the Blue bottom lighting up on your TV.

  • I have the same exact problem with my 52 inch LNT5271FX. A few questions. Where do I get the parts? Best Buy? FRYS? and I couldn't hear ya in the video, so what do I ask for? I had repair guys take my TV only to tell me it's going to cost $470.00 and I said no thank you! I love my TV so now I have the broken parts and a TV that doesn't turn on. Any feed back is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • thank you for posting this video! it was very detailed and you are helping alot of people save alot of money!!

  • Even if Samsung will repair it for free, it took me 30 min and $5. Of course I have to go back to the Shack because my capacitors are rated for 85 C, but thats another story. Thanks Milo, thanks Dad, and mom too. Great video, great tut. It was much easier than I ever imagined.

  • Thanks I did the fix and I cant believe it worked for me!

    Thank you Thank you!

  • Just did the fix and it is working BEAUTIFULLY!!! Thank you so much for helping! I was a 20 dollar fix instead of a whole new TV! THANKS!

  • Thank you for helping every body on fixing this issue. I called the samsung guys they said they are giving one time free service for the capacitor issues. I was planning to go and fix my self but since now they are giving free of serice I will for them. Thanks again for helping people to save lot of money.

  • Awesome job, I'm gonna attempt this on an older tv we got six years ago! Let it be known you are helping alot of people fix their tvs and save money. Having your son in the video gave it charm as well!

  • Brings so much joy hearing the family shout HOORAY!! And definitely a shame on you to Samsung! Thanks a billion Milo and family!! :) Now time to find my replacement caps. Is there specific model that I should look for?

  • Thanks a million

  • Awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Yes I do

  • 2/6/2010Great job I have the same model Samsung LNT5265FX/XAA. I had four capacitors bad two 10V and two 25V, 1000uf. I replaced them all with the same capacitors 35v 1000uf. It took me and a friend about 2 hours to take down the TV and replace the capacitors and it works like a charm now!!!!!!! Thanks again for the detailed fix! Now I can watch the Big Game tonight...or at least the commercials since I am not a fan of either team!

  • 2/5/11 - thank you !! figured out that bad capacitors were causing my RCA screen to flicker - but had no idea how to change. Your video was awesome in the detail and allowed me to fix our tv in about 30 minutes total. I really appreciate your time in sharing. thank you.

  • Dude this is great. First off, thanks for taking the time to document your fix. I think it's fantastic that you would take the time out to do it and post it up on youtube. I for one am not confident in doing this unless I have an idea. But you didn't give me an Idea. You practecally wrote the freaking manuel. Kudo's to you!

Second, the level of detail was amazing, thank you!

  • On the phone with Sammy tech right now. They say they will offer a one time repair to replace busted capacitors free of charge, however if the problem is not the capacitors they will charge you a heft fee to fix the problem.

  • Great video!

  • just did this shit... tv is workin again. thanks dude

  • Samsung fixes this for FREE

DO NOT OPEN YOUR TV and TRY THIS

Samsung will repair it for FREE

tell them you have a capacitor Issue

  • @FalvoAnt

Actually Samsung does not fix ALL of the capacitor issues.. I have a series 300 and because mine wasn't a 330, then I couldn't have it fixed for free.

  • @FalvoAnt Do you work for Samsung? Despite my electronics background, I always get the third degree when speaking with someone who has no actual electronics experience but rather is an expert at reading line by line troubleshooting guides. Yeah, start off by telling someone that you have capacitor issues with your television- you'll get laughed off the phone or no help because [they think] you know it all.

  • Thanks for the video, very interesting, you could have just saved me a few quid, its great peope like you take the time to do these videos, cheers, oh thanks Milo for your great remote handling,

  • would this apply to the samsung model LE46A557P2F ? does it have the same capacitors? thanks. and great video

  • I never have soldered before or messed with electronics before and watched this video. Went to radio shack, bought a $9.00 solder kit and 4 capacitors for about $6 bucks and fixed the thing, like new. Unbelievable.

  • Fantastic Video. I'm about to do the same this weekend. You're video was really helpful.

  • THIS WAS AWESOME ADVISE AND REAL GOOD TUTORIALS!!!!

  • Put up a tip jar so I can sen you a buck!

  • This is the 4th time my Samsung 55" LCD has quit working in 3 years, 2 screen issues and second time for the capacitors. Spent about an hour and $5.00 to replace 3 capacitors thanks to Milo and his helpers.

Works like it is supposed to once again.

  • I spent $2.30 to fix my tv thanks to you so THANKS MAN

  • I don't have a Samsung, but the basics of the videos are exactly what I was looking for. You both made a great tutorial here! I've had 6 broken tvs given to me and I bet 4 out of the 6 tvs I have sitting in my basement have cap problems. Power supply problems seem to be the most common. One question, when you were removing the caps, you rested you solder hand on the back of the board near the hot caps. Is there a danger that the hot caps could discharge if accidentally touched on the back?

  • Hey man! thanks for the tuto. Just a question... what kind or model of capacitors i need to buy for my samsung LN32A330? and how much i need to buy?

    Thanks again !

  • Thank You for the Advice and the video. I was just successful, fixing my 40'' as you have shown here. Great Info.

  • nice video brazil são paulo location ok

  • SAMSUNG WILL FIX IT FOR FREE!!

  • Don't go to RatShack, Parts Express or surplus parts dealers for replacement caps. The proper caps for these MUST, MUST, MUST be Low-ESR type caps in addition to proper capacitance, voltage and temperature rating. Buy caps intended for switching power supplies such as Panasonic EEU-FC1E102L caps (1000uF, 25V, 105C, low ESR). If you buy from places like Parts Express - you may be getting old surplus parts that are 10 or more years old. Fry's VHT (NTE) 1000uF, 50V caps are NOT Low-ESR.

  • @GPE001 U never lied! Fuck Radio Shack! Thay don't have any type of variety of capacitors other than 35v rating, Real Talk!

  • Thanks Mrs,

my husband fixed our TV for $4, saving us $800.

    yee haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • You are like Robin Hood of the electronic repair world! You just helped me steal from the over priced repairman's pocket and put it right back into my families. Thanks, very well done. No fancy talk, just an average joe doing a average job.

Only if every DIY video could be this down to earth.

    A++++

  • Thanks alot...just got my tv fixed..n i just spended 7 dollars..got da capacitors from n old board..lol..but got it fixed..thanks to this video...no more clikin..it come right on..yyyeyyy

  • Thank U, we followed all steps of both parts and our TV is working. We paied $35 only rather than paying 500. EXcellent teacher.

  • Hi will u please help me! I found a capacitor that is done and I need to fix it on my Samsung. The problem is I know which one is done but I dont know how to tell what i need to buy or the watts on the capacitors

  • god danm it! after ordering and replacing 3 blown capsitors...i found another one ¬¬ should be able to pick another one up next time im up town.

  • God bless you and your family... Was able to fix my 40" Samsung with this same problem, thanx to you for taking the time to post this video. My wife could'nt believe I fixed this problem. Once again thank you!!

  • I agree with that ? why pay a fortune to have a prescription for antibiotics also ? let's change that .... everyone have the rights to medicate himself

  • @xtraordinarydude because unfortunately , some people are idiots. Not everyone can fix their own TV,. and not everyone is smart enough to be their own doctor. Saving that, even though I am very well versed in the medical field , I realize that I am not a doctor and it doesn't hurt to get a professional opinion. Even doctors go see doctors.

  • @baxterspace in addition to that , Even if you know what you are doing, and the repair goes south somehow or doesn't address the problem, you have just successfully voided your warranty and no tech will touch it !

  • @baxterspace He said it was out of warranty, just like the rest of us who have this problem. You're not doing anything wrong by trying to fix it yourself. It's like replacing the spark plugs on your car with 100k miles yourself. This video has saved me hundreds of dollars.

  • Hi there, nice video, did any one ever got hurts on this try ? what if people gets electrocuted ? are you aware they can give to you a big law suit ? do you take the responsibility ? can you also provide some antibiotics to some one don’t have to spend money with doctors ? can you also teach people how to fix there teeth’s ? because you can spend 100s of times more in one doctor’s or dentist visit that with a poor technician visiting your house …

  • Of note, in case your Samsung LN series has problems with a strobe effect (where display turns on and off repeatedly but sound is ok), this fix seems to address that problem also.

I tried this fix of replacing the caps (even they did not look bulged) and it has fixed my issue. I replaced a total of 7 caps since I did not know which one may have been bad. Now pic looks great again.

  • update, i bought a sodering iron, and got capasitors in, it works wonderful. Upgraded the capasitors to 16 volts.

  • I'm gonna fix my 42' phillips i pulled the board off and ther capasitors are bulging on the head of them, so i will buy some tomorrow, can i get some at radio shack.

  • thankyou, i just fixed my tv!!!!

  • wow, it workssssssss.......very easy process. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!

  • so im a mom n all this looks easy to bad im not handy like this i have a 52 in doing the same thing but mine takes days to come on ANYONE IN NY AREA

  • Man you have a great film crew every repair is done with love. Yeahhhhh

  • Awesome! This fixed our broken 32 inch samsung!

  • Update: went to RadioShack (OH) and purchased 5 1000UF 35WVCD caps, removed bad caps, solder on new ones, put TV back together and it works. Smell your motherboard it should have a distinct odor?

  • How do you know if your motherboard is fried or if its the capacitors?

  • @Armornone they will be burnt on top, or kind of bulging upward, thats how mine are, im gonna fix tomorrow.

  • I was wondering if people could post links of the caps they bought? Thank you.

  • Oh should I replace all the caps or just the blown ones? Maybe someone already asked this?

  • I have a Samsung LN-T4071 that is 2 1/2 years old doing the clicking sound thing. Thanks to your video I am going to give it a whirl, before dropping any more cash on a new TV. It's people like yourself that take the time to help others in need that shows your character. THANKS so much! Going to change out the old capacitors tomorrow with new, and hopefully have a working TV.

  • It worked! Thanks for the detailed instructions, it was helpful for a novice like me. I have a 42" Samsung LCD TV, I had to replace 2 2200 uF 10V (with 2200uF 25V) capacitors.

I continue to see the blue light at the bottom of the TV remain ON even after I turn it off through the remote control. Does anyone know what that problem is ? If I turn off through the power switch the blue light will disappear in about 3 secs.

  • It worked...thx!

  • It worked saved me buying a new one!

  • Thanks milosmommy, for this very easy to follow video. Also thanks to zber007 for his comment about ordering part #272-1032 from Radio Shack (got them online). I also had a Samsung 40" LCD. Replaced the 4 caps and now TV works perfectly.

Of course, I found this video a little late. I bought a new LED-LCD. I guess I'll hang the "old" Samsung in bedroom.

  • When I see all the people whom have helt via this and other links, somebody should open a website where we could sign upand pass it on toSamsung

I will open a facebook group to day please sign up if you have had this problem

  • When I see all the people whom have helt via this and other links, somebody should open a website where we could sign upand pass it on toSamsung

  • "Okay, it came right on! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!"

    Just adorable!!! Made my day...

  • whats the tool in sec 0:38???

  • I got a question i got LG and im starting to have same problem. could it be the capacitors starting to go bad???

  • wow i watched your video like 20 times to be sure of what I was doing. After abit of hesitation i gave it a shot and woop! it turns on in 2 seconds thx alot for this helpfull video! :)

  • I just wanted to say that I've never commented on a youtube video before, but was inspired to do so because this video was so helpful. I have a 46" Samsung TV that started clicking when I turned it on 2 days ago. It went on after 15-30 secs but today it never turned on..just clicked. After watching this video, I did exactly as you instructed and my TV is now fixed and working perfectly. I just did this 15 min ago. Went to Radio Shak and replaced (2) 10v capacitors with 35v capacitors. THANK YOU!

  • Wow - I did everything as you instructed and whoopie yippie skippy yay it works! I can't understand why Samsung would cheap out on such a critical component when their TV's are so expensive. How this will surely affect their future sales!

Thank you and Milo and Milo's mommy for your help on this - imagine another form of philanthropy - giving back with knowledge. Amazing how quick and relatively easy this repair was. Thanks again - bless you!

  • This is the kind of stuff that makes you proud to be an American !!!

Great Dad, Mom and Milo. Thanks.

  • thank you! added 35v caps, 1 hour worth of work, priceless! (ok, $8.00, but still a heck of a lot less expensive than a new TV!
