It's not fast forwarded. The upper screen shows his path and his speed compared to the other 'traverler's ship' (bottom right) which is traveling at regular speed. And the bottom screen shows all this water splashing around. I'm sure the water would not splash when it is UN-fast forwarded. It's just some hacks that the user decided to show and post for fun...
