Plus they explicitly said they were breaching the first law of thermodyanmics. Right away, Noether's Theorem instantly raises a massive red flag against any and all such claims. In spite of all this, I'm surprised this video gets such a high rating. The simple failure of them to make good on their word to me is enough to raise lots of red flags -- you don't need to be a physicist to see that. That being said... after I build this 20 years ago. The Magnet to Kintic convertion does work. Mine ran for a week with out stoping. HOWEVER, The energy in the soild state magnets converts and they demagnetize. While not free energy it is possible to store energy nonchemically this way. Though why bother... chemical energy is so much more effective.
1st of he is useing soild state magnets (ssm) with an electromagnet(em) as a pusher to get this started. The Em pushes the past the "slope point" on the ssm thus causeing 'kindic energy'. Its a Field Moebius that is inverted and the end fields are inverted within the invertion. When you apply 2nd field 'off-slope' happens.
In my opinion, you can not create more energy than already exists in the universe. I believe those that claim so are overlooking things. It could be as simple as the human energy to flip a switch, moving cables back and forth, people that don't understand how magnets work, etc. If any component wears out and needs replacement, then that adds energy to the process. My degree is in electronic engineering, but I've dabbled in mechanical engineering some. I've *NEVER* seen a precision bearing with a MTBF lower than 25,000 hours, and most are closer to 100,000, and a MUCH higher RPM than their junk. Even at the lowest value of 25K, it should have run for 2.8 YEARS. If the slightest bit of friction causes it to fail, whats going to happen when they put the 25GW load of a city on it?

People seem to forget that 1/3 of Brazil's fuel needs come from bio-fuel. All crops industrially produced crops require fertilizer to keep from burning out the soil. Switch grass for example grows fast, requires little fertilizer, and has the potential to produce between 600-1000 gallons of ethanol per acre. Multiply that by the acres stripped making plywood, newsprint and toilet paper.
Your intentions are good except your estimations do not come near to the areas required for growing these crops to feed world demand. For example if you wanted to make the U.K dependent on Bio fuel, there is not enough farmland in the UK to achieve this, you don't get very much produce per acre. You can't just keep filling the land with fertiliser to stop it burning out...
you forget 3/4 of the world is water. aquatic plants can be convert into combusible fule, this process has been proven but the energy cost is not worth it a low volume. If a cellious plant is in the ocean. It could be harvested for the cost of super saturating the waters with raw biowaste. If they use magnets that reacts to earths magnetic field, the energy is certainly free (if you don't take into account the price creating the magnets and other componentes), but it doesn't necessarily CREATE more energy than it uses, it simply converts magnetic energy to mechanic energy, and does it extremely efficiently, with a minimal loss of energy.
Sounds like just another hoax to me, they can prove us all wrong by creating a real world application that actually can deliver energy on a large scale. by selling the energy they create to pay for their investments they can easily show if it works or not.

It's not exactly free energy. Huge amounts of energy went into the creation of magnets and they do eventually wear out. Look at our planet. It has a magnetic field because of geological makeup and motion all of which have had huge amounts of energy dumped into them during the formation of our solar system. If you think of a magnet as a storage cell for the energy that was used to create them then no laws of physics are being broken.

A machine is a device to increase work done without increasing work load. Look at all the things you can do at home 24/7 and hardly pay a bill for. That's near free energy, and it could be much cheaper still. HOWEVER, The energy in the soild state magnets converts and they demagnetize. While not free energy it is possible to store energy nonchemically this way. Though why bother... chemical energy is so much more effective.

1st of he is useing soild state magnets (ssm) with an electromagnet(em) as a pusher to get this started. The Em pushes the past the "slope point" on the ssm thus causeing 'kindic energy'. Its a Field Moebius that is inverted and the end fields are inverted within the invertion. When you apply 2nd field 'off-slope' happens.

This is not new. If you take a flat round magnet with an magnet rod for an axle. Add a wire from the outside of the flat round magnet and one end to the end of the rod magnet. It should spin by it self. All they are doing is spinning it fast with out side energy. Efficiency should be with plenty of extra energy.

An acre of solar cells at current efficiencies can run a car about a thousand times further than the biodiesil off the same land, barring algae farms run w/ CO2, I'm not sure how well those work but its really well.

My degree is in electronic engineering, but I've dabbled in mechanical engineering some. I've *NEVER* seen a precision bearing with a MTBF lower than 25,000 hours, and most are closer to 100,000, and a MUCH higher RPM than their junk. Even at the lowest value of 25K, it should have run for 2.8 YEARS. If the slightest bit of friction causes it to fail, whats going to happen when they put the 25GW load of a city on it?

Why the hostility? Because they're taking two things I'm passionate about, science and technology and renewable energy, and giving BOTH a black eye. What they're doing doesn't break *my* anything. It does however break several scientific laws which are IMMUTEABE. In laymens terms, it does in fact mean it's IMPOSSIBLE. We don't need to know *everything* about physics to know this.

They may be laws of Conservation as we understand, what is being discussed is that there are flaws in some of these mathematical models. There are mathematical computations with Youngs modulus on how to mix the strongest concrete ... but it don't hold true - the only way to true success is trial and error.

These laws are defined by the universe itself. All we have done is understand what these laws are and documented them. Youngs modulus and concrete ave absolutely NO relevance to this topic.

The universe as WE understand it is not as clear cut as we once thought, its our lack of understanding of the universe when we wrote these laws that has limited our way of exploring possibilities other than tunnel vision belief - look at the early laws of conventional current flow - THEY ARE WRONG. I don't believe anyone is trying to break the laws of physics, they are trying to convert one energy form to another - e.g gravity to kinetic.

People seem to forget that 1/3 of Brazil's fuel needs come from bio-fuel. All crops industrially produced crops require fertilizer to keep from burning out the soil. Switch grass for example grows fast, requires little fertilizer, and has the potential to produce between 600-1000 gallons of ethanol per acre. Multiply that by the acres stripped making plywood, newsprint and toilet paper.

Your intentions are good except your estimations do not come near to the areas required for growing these crops to feed world demand. For example if you wanted to make the U.K dependent on Bio fuel, there is not enough farmland in the UK to achieve this, you don't get very much produce per acre. You can't just keep filling the land with fertiliser to stop it burning out...

you forget 3/4 of the world is water. aquatic plants can be convert into combusible fule, this process has been proven but the energy cost is not worth it a low volume. If a cellious plant is in the ocean. It could be harvested for the cost of super saturating the waters with raw biowaste. Collecting the methane from city sewage then dumping the mass to a Sea Cellious Growing site.

Einstein discussed the effect of 'ether'. Ether can be thought of as vacuum energy. The term vacuum only describes the space that exists all around us. Zero-point energy was introduced by Max Planck in 1911. Physics tells us the energy located in the Ether Vacuum may be tapped. Physics also tells us that energy introduced into an electromagnetic motor can only achieve less output than that input. Steorn has proved nothing.

Over Unity can be accomplished by developing a device that will tap in to the linear energy that exists in the vacuum ether. That is produced, not by a motor movement, but by a solid state device. Steorn's device defies physics. Imprudent to say the least. I would suggest that you study the history of Nickola Tesla's inventions and patents. The black box method of testing is not foolproof. RF signals could come from the outside and drive the unit. Also, one year of testing may wear out parts and shut it down even if successful. Replication by others seems a better test.

For the World Government Conspiracy crowd: The test is so ridiculously simple: Put the generator inside a black box with two wires coming out. Connect a load resistor across the wires. Have a PC with an analog to digital converter board continuously measure the voltage across the resistor. Power equals voltage squared over resistance. Run it in public for ONE YEAR. Calculate the total energy output. As simple as that but it will always be demoed "next year".

If they use magnets that reacts to earths magnetic field, the energy is certainly free (if you don't take into account the price creating the magnets and other componentes), but it doesn't necessarily CREATE more energy than it uses, it simply converts magnetic energy to mechanic energy, and does it extremely efficiently, with a minimal loss of energy.
