And of all the religions to be talking . . . never has there been a proven more deadly and inhumane religion than that of Atheism when taken in as governmental ideology as was proven by not one, but every single government to date that has taken Atheism as it's primary national religion.
@NewnotesJR - Yes Atheism is a religion too - the video is just showing how we separate ourselfs form supporting all as life, by fighting over what someone wants us to believe god is.
LOL, you're probably like the few 1% that is actually willing to see Atheism as a religion.
What I find most striking is how someone like Dawkins, the great prophet of Atheism, would admit to being a "religious non-believer," knowing all he knows, and yet most Atheists won't see that they too are religious non-believers and know so much less than Dawkins does about the whys in evolutionary biology, yet they think they're not religious about it at all. Faith is faith.
The main difference is, most Atheists don't realize the depth of what they can't explain, which means they're putting more on blind faith, excuse me, I mean their faith in today's science labs and scientists, than even Dawkins does. Dawkins actually has a good idea of the depth of things Atheists must just accept. The normal Atheist doesn't, and because of it they have an even greater blind faith and then don't even realize it.
But you know what, that's human nature. We have a hard time accepting that we could be wrong especially when we pride ourselves on being in the "know," like most Atheists do.
I don't blame Atheists, I just wish they'd actually be as open-minded to reality as they think themselves to be. Some are, perhaps like you, but I don't think that most are.
For myself, when I see pertinent information I ponder. But there is nothing to say God doesn't exist nor that Christ isn't.
And indeed, there is plenty to say God does exist, and that Christ is He. One of the more pronounced things is the fact that not only do we exist, but that basic reason behind existence is so ordered that even the chaos that operates within it's confines is in of itself ordered.
Equally as intriguing is how more than any other thing, religious or not, nothing like Christianity, even with all those who attempted to corrupt it has ever had such a massive positive impact.
And furthermore, that massive positive impact that Christianity has had almost exclusively started out amongst the peoples who revered Christ above all others and then it spread out almost exclusively in the benefit of those that were more open to hearing the message of Christianity and it still continues to spread out. Christianity never stayed where it started like all of the others, has the habit of spreading like wildfire and by coincidence, those very places improve.
Oh there is a lot more reason to believe in Christ than not. In fact, I would be more willing to believe that God didn't exist, to become a religious atheist, and that that man Jesus of Nazareth somehow is still able to effectively influence the entire world and that book we read as the Bible than I would to believe that any God ever existed.
I couldn't explain Q, only the evidence of his work. The same with Jesus of Nazareth, if I were an Atheist.
@NewnotesJR That is ridiculous. Not believing in a supernatural being is now a system of beliefs? I suppose your a part of the a-santa religion, and the a-toothfairy religion as well? I implore you not to become an a-flyingspaghettimonster adherent as I hear they get pretty bad about oppressing their rival religion.
Also, it seems you're mistaking atheism as the impetus for such inhumane and cruel acts of various gov'ts. I propose that any ideology can be taken to an extreme and used as ...
Uhh, yeah, it's pretty much a system. Just because you guys haven't gotten together to form official groups of ideologies yet doesn't mean that there isn't a system of beliefs.
Think about it, Atheism right now is as simplistic as Christianity. The core belief, the belief on which everything else revolves around. For Christianity: We must accept and emulate Christ to the best of our ability. Atheism: You must believe, regardless, that the supernatural does not exist.
Nice point about governments. I see it's actually not beyond an Atheist's comprehension to realize the detriment of the powerful and unaccountable.
Interesting how, in all your seeing the truth for what it is bull, you can't see the obviousness of the corruption that had little to do with the actual religion and almost entirely to do with the ambitions of the corrupt and unaccountable . . . .
LOL, you can't ignore reality merely because it suits you. Dawkins also tried to say that it was only because of the man and not the religion. What I find most funny is how you Atheists see Dawkins as the impartial scholar who merely chose the most logical path when he, like many of you, will say this concerning Atheism, but claim religion inhumanity when looking at the Crusades, an event by the Catholic church of the time which was known for it's corruption and greed.
However, the fact that the Crusades focused almost entirely on gain and Communism's crusade against religion focused almost entirely on the destruction of religion, regardless of gain or loss, and as you Atheists love to say religion is actually better for dictators to control the masses, I'd say that Atheism was indeed the primary, if not the sole reason that Communism's crusade against religion, particularly Christianity, was so inhumane and deadly.
hahahhaa cool! Just heard someone saying that allah promise you 50 virgins when you die as a warrior of his faith - lol - wtf, where do these virgins come from????? :) And what would I be doing with 50 virgins, being a virgin myself (ah well :) nah nah nah
@tullepie yep. religion is childish and i wished the rest of the world would see it this way! It's like a bunch of five year olds running around beating each other up for their god. They always claim that you can't disprove god. Unfortunately I can. It's called science and rationality! It's like a bunch of five year olds whining about the existence of Santa Clause! Religion also inhibits the progression of medical science, astronomical discoveries, etc. I'm sick of this! fuck religon!
LOL, no-God is a God too.
