For the J&R Keep it up i don't understand how you do it! Its soo frustrating, i got the first part on slow motion, but i can't figure out how to do it fast so it sounds like the actual song!
@petarbg123 : Well when I play it at full speed I miss (not playing) some of the notes of the fast double hit part. I simply cant hit those notes that fast with one hand. I can do it using two hands and no bass (as in the video) but when I play bass ,I have to skip some notes from the melody. As long as you got the slow part you're in! Just work on speed and accuracy from there. Don't get frustrated : )
You are awesome. No one can play better than you. I have a question, can you please make a Video and play this song (Dj Tiesto- Adagio for strings) please you very much. I learn only from you on the keyboard :D. If you will make this song i will me glad ^^ thank you very much again. ^^ You are just awesome keyboard player.
@95dirtbikerider : The Motif-Rack that you hear does not even have a keyboard, let alone speakers. : ) The MIDI controller keyboard that I use in this video to trigger the sounds in the Motif-Rack happens to be a Yamaha MM6 keyboard and it does not have speakers. I either use headphones or since I run the audio through my PC for recording I can listen through the PC's speakers.
@LiveDJFlo : Hey Flo! I'm still trying to find effects in my synthesizer because the ones it has does not sound the way I like it. But sooner or later I will give up and just do the next video : )
@LewiG666 : Hi Lewi! I really don't have one and it depends on my mood what I listen to. If I'm angry from stress at work for example then I will listen to some grindcore ( very heavy metal ) and it calms me down. Other than that in the electronic music genre I like what ever I made videos of and anything that has some super synth sounds in it. ( like in the original tracks from this video).
By the way I'm very bad with knowing artist names and the names of genres.
@laxman6565 : Thanks for trying to play it! This means my video is not a waste : ) I agree "Keep it up" is hard to play smooth! I played it pretty sloppy in this video but I don't think anybody else attempted this on keyboard due to lack of a tutorial out there! Thanks and " Keep it up!" : )
(as always) great as always! - I could learn from You (no joke!) how to play the melody of RUSSIAN PRIVJET because if you listen carefuly to my version you will find out that I'm not able to play melodies exact the original way
@LiveDJFlo : Thanks Flo! I listened to your version back when we talked about it and I thought it's just hard to make out what you were playing because there are a lot of things going on ( sound wise) and you are playing it at a very high BPM too. I actually played it wrong in my other vid but a little better in this video but hey this is what we get for playing live : )
Hey musicpro01234567 :P What is the name of the voice what u have on Russian Privjet? i can play it now too :D. How can i thank you... Very, very Thanks!!
Great video, it really helps me learning coz i dont have time to attend music school or teacher. Would be great if u post the name of sounds aswell. Thank you!
hey may i ask wats that extra boxy thing ? on top of ur keyoard? im getting a keyboard soon cuz i like to make me own music and im thinking of the roland fantom G8 because it can make reasonable trance dance etc type music.
but the G8 costs 5grand aussie and just wondering if ur set up is cheaper
@hude2123 : The extra box thing is the Motif -Rack you are listening to. What is a rack? It;s a keyboard's brains in a convenient box so people who want to use the sounds in a studio,or already got plenty of keyboards but need the Motif sounds can do just that! It is cheaper than the keyboard itself! Has double the polyphony of the k.b. but does not have an on board sequencer (can't record )

Hi!! good job!!!
I have a yamaha MO6 (Motif6) i know you have the MM6 and Motif Rack. In my Yamaha, have i the same voice that your motif rack or no?
thinks!
mitchouze19 1 year ago
@mitchouze19 : I think my rack has the same sounds as the Motif Classic keyboard, which I believe was the first motif keyboard released.
Your MO6 should be pretty close but I don't think it is the same as the motif. However I'm sure they share a lot of the sounds.
