Wow...This performance will be 25 years old next week....can still remember listening to this album one night under my covers on my portable stereo. Just a lad at the time...everyone else in the house asleep. DJ Dave Fanning on RTE radio use to play complete albums late at night and I was lucky enough to catch Steve Mc queen. The intimacy of this album will never leave me. A classic!
Pure class, this is my favorite, least obvious track on Steve McQueen,if you know what i mean, but then again they are all my favourite,i cant not bloody believe, that this album is 25 years old!!!!!
I was attending UCLA when this record came out. It made a huge impact on my group of friends and seeing these live videos is such a treat because sadly they never toured in the US. I still think there are few records as good as this.
Well said. I was up on Cape Cod avoiding some hurricane that was running up the coast in '85 when I heard this! Great that albums like this made an impression, Two Wheels Good, on a discerning American audience who like good Brit music beyond the Beatles!
...and one of the top ten til now!

What a great band...
They sound excellent live, but does anyone have the studio version? I can't believe it's not posted somewhere :)

I love this song for its amusing lyrics and typically intricate chord changes. An interesting bass/piano solo in the middle.

Nice live performance, lets you hear how they really sound on stage. Not as slick as the recordings but still very good. Love the Telecaster guitar.

Steve McQueen [Two Wheels Good] is the best breakup album I've ever heard.
I'm turkey hungry,chicken free
And I can break dance on your knee

I love this album. Matthew Sweet's Girlfriend is also a great break up album (it was about his divorce).

Wasn't this from "Two Wheels Good?"

Yes...but that was just the US name for 'Steve McQueen.' Apparently his estate objected to the title.
