Wow...holy shit!!!!I've heard allllllot of the garbage that these guys have released over the 80's and 90's...but this is friggin amazing.....how come it took me stumbling upon it on youtube????...what the hell???...no promotion whatsoever....um,,,dont know what to say...maybe if it had a hip hop beat and some autotune, it might have got some attention..

@nebby6 Yes I was always an ELO fan as well...they were called "the sons of the Beatles" by somebody...I can't remember who it was...For some reason I think It was Roy Orbison who called them that, but can't be sure...

This does kinda remind me of ELO, but the voice is sooo Robin....just love him.

Kinda, sorta got my wish. Made the trip to Milwaukee a few weeks ago to see their Dream Police show and got to hear this and "Smile" from The Latest backed by an orchestra. Simply breathtaking. :)

Superb! One of the few groups from the 70s/80s who continue to top themselves creatively instead of becoming a dinosaur act and resting on their laurels. The Trick are one of the most underrated bands on the planet right now. And Robin's voice has remained freakishly pristine condition for the past 35 yrs, despite being a smoker. How he does of his vocal gymnastic during live shows is beyond me. The guy is amazing and truly improves with age. As artists and a group, they're inspiring.

I think that Trick saw that the Beatles were the number one selling artist of the past decade and figured "why not tap into that". Worked pretty well for Oasis a few years ago. I recorded a song that people said sounded like a mix between Lennon and the Beach Boys. I can live with that.

I love so many songs on this CD. This song is my favorite. Haunting was the first thought that came to my mind when I heard Robin Zander sing this. Truly an amazing musical effort. They are really going in a good direction. I'm proud to call them my favorite band. Some radio stations should be playing these! Especially in the midwest (like MADISON, WI!!!) HELLO! Keep your music going forever, you just keep getting better. Just put it to repeat and listen to them all over & over again.

this whole album is a concept album about where they(Cheap Trick) thinks The Beatles would be or what an album would sound like now if they put one out. Hence all the references and music that sounds Beatlesque! Great!
