nope, there were plenty of tests in Nevada test field and in Pacific Ocean made by USA after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The last atomic bomb test by USA was in 1992. The most know are operation Crossroads, operation Tumbler-Snapper and thermonuclear tests Ivy Mike and Castle Bravo
