I have watched almost all of your videos, the thing is I don't give a shit about whips, I don't own a whip nor do I care for one.

How long do you plait before you have to untangle the ends?

@lklik6 When you first start plaiting a whip the strands are long, in the case of an 8ft whip they are 12ft long so you can only plait 3 or 4 inches before you untangle the strands. That is done by pulling the core out from the centre and then individual strands until they are all free. As you progress along the whip the strands get shorter and it isn't necessary to untangle as often. It's a good idea not to keep plaiting until it gets to difficult because then it becomes difficult to untangle.
