  • put your fucking mother in this trap

  • poor love, shame on humans

  • aww was hoping to hear a BOOOM headshot

  • id be vicious as all fk stuck in that thing

  • I like how he said was released without serious injury.... when blood stains are visible and imagine... when did you pick up something out of foothold trap without a broken foot of the animal...

  • Put your pussy traps away and hunt it like a man

  • @thatBIGredman No pun intended?

  • @thatBIGredman you ever trapped? didn't think so. it takes way more education, skill, and time than hunting. i am an avid hunter and trapper so i'm not putting down hunting. but trapping is way more rewarding.

  • @TCWPfowlers So it's more rewarding to let it suffer longer than it needs to? Skill? Open trap, place on ground, walk away....yeah it takes a lot of skill

  • i hate them things

  • ok... angry house cats are a handful and you are shoving a camera in a Bobcat's face???

  • You couldn't pay me to get within 100 feet of that thing. Jeeesus christ it looks vicious.

  • Dont get me wrong, i hunt and trap. but i dont really agree with trapping certain animals, better to kill instantly that to sit there and rub it in his face.

  • Good looking fur.

  • poor kitty, let him go

  • without serious injury? I doubt it. that's plain cruel. (see the blood nearby)

  • were was this video taken what state

  • poor thing =3

  • how did you release it? Did it attack you?

  • Wow! Nice bobcat.

  • i wonder if a bobcat would make me sneeze

  • It'll be my attack cat

  • For some odd reason I really want a pet bobcat now and I don't know why

  • @MultiRedneck66 lol me 2. I think it would be cool. More fun than a house cat and more realistic than owning a cougar.

  • do you have to have a license for fox and coyote trapping

  • @MrLuke991 wish you were trapped

  • @TriforcePlayer2 good one nerd

  • Don't be mistaken by his size, a bobcat will fuck your legs up. : /

  • i caught a bobcat this year and man was he MAD!!!!!!

  • grats on the nice cat make i love trapping bob cat great fur makes good clothing and brings a good price keep on trapping dont let these bunny huggers that have never even left the citie for more than a week get ya down .i got brand new coibear set out hopefully they produce.

  • It deviltry. Why you need to capture?

Lead to the destruction of ecosystems. Trample on the law an act of nature.

  • That 782 guy dont have a fucking clue what he is talking about... ignorant people to this stuff just make me sad. That was a nice kitty

  • if yall are gonna make bad comments dont watch it

  • As for the bob cat or any other animal who gets in these, they for sure have a broken foot and will never hunt right again, so might as well be dead!

  • Well I may talk some shit but my dad was a trapper in the Territory of Alaska when you were a baby and he used the Claw traps. The animals chewed their legs off to get out only to bleed to death a few feet away. There have been a few cases where the "trapers" forgot where they have put the traps and people have stepped into them. Not great for them as they had a broken foot and could not walk,They were found Dead.

  • I used to trap red fox, with a number 2 ( larger trap ), and sell them live to houndsmen to train their dogs. I would keep them in a pen for a cuople weeks before i sold them, and never had any problems with foot damage. the leghold is not a cutting device, if it was you would lose your catch. it is simply a clamping device. Very humane way to keep predator numbers in check. Mother nature controls numbers by starvation and disease, very cruel.

  • Why on eath would you want to set a trap. Maybe you kids or grand kids will find their way in like a friends kid did.. The kid sued his parents and guess what, They are homeless..

  • @kdk782 christ you talk some SHITE!!

  • ok..so then what did you do next?

  • Why did you release the cat? fur was up in price not to long ago were i live havent been able to trap in a while working to much wish i could go back to living off trapping full time again but the money just isent their anymore.

  • Legal act by a licensed trapper, no problem. That's the criteria to meet. As for the emotional outpouring of venom, well what do you expect from people who have their killing done for them so they can eat meat, bath in animal by-products, and clothe themselves.

  • "Released without injury. Yeah, that makes a good line" *turns off camera* BAM!!!

    Great job dumbass

  • @Dustbin2008 here he is agian the mighty hunter on giving his shite ha ha ha who u trying to kid jerk off??

  • I am an animal lover, but also a responsible hunter that bobcat is a beautiful animal, if it was released it was released unharmed and no it foot was not crushed, the blood in the snow was from the trap just scaping the cat, it would be like us humans scapin ourselve, probly less because trust me those bobcats are damn tough animals

  • without injury my ass.

i guess all the red splatters and dots in the snow is just koolaid.

  • Released without injury? So is that the blood from the bobcat raping your wife? I hope that cat was released and fucked you up.

  • ida shot it between the eyes

  • DID YOU KILL IT. I BET YOU DID

  • Now that is GODDAMN BIG CATTT!!! О_О

  • Poke it with a stick

  • What a beautiful animal ! Native American wisdom teaches that every human has an animal totem (or counterpart) and when it appears in your Life at a specific time there is a significant message in that. Animal souls have much to teach but most humans are too stupid and caught up in materialistic pursuits to get the lesson. The day the humans wake up, the animals will be very happy :-)

  • A beautiful wild animal with it's foot crushed. Congratulations, asshole.

  • @jimmyphat1 it dose not crush or even damege its foot i put my hand in theese traps and no harm done

  • "without injury" So where's all that blood coming from then?

  • @twilightingX The Blood Fairy?

  • OMGosh!! I am SICK!! That poor animal! I want to cry! Look at the fear and terror in his eyes as he is approached. Released WITHOUT injury, my ass! This is cruel, inhumane and uncalled for! People can really be disgusting some times!

  • You are a dick and a half! Released without injury? Put this trap at the end of you small penis and see if you release yourself without injury. Brainless motherfucker.

  • seems pretty inhumane to me.

  • without injury my ass, look at the blood stains in the snow

  • Damn, I am a cat lover, but that kitty looks like it would make an awsome "indian head dress" mount! :)

  • please please help this cat please help him .

  • my dog was caught in a snare a few winters ago. the person finally decided to check his traps after a few days and she barely made it home. we had posters up for her in our small town and the guy didnt even tell anyone he caught a dog. he just let her off into the cold. now when i find traps i toss them into the river. they should all be banned.

  • @krisk52193 Fuck you dude, if you dont know the risk of letting domestic animals run outside like wild animals,(except not as smart) you shouldnt own a pet. Trapping has got to be among the oldest ways of providing food for people and if your dog just so happens to stumble into a snare, if you cared about the dog at all you would not blame the trapper but yourself.

  • @max4hunter2 well first off, i made no attack at you. so idk where youre coming from with this hate. all im saying is that this isnt the best way to get animals. i think its an effective way to get them, just a very cruel way. now you can either reply by calling me a faggot or whatever your choice of words would be or just realize that this is my opinion and theres absolutely nothing you could do to change it.

  • your either brave or dumb to get that close to a wild animal with sharp claws

  • u better get away from that thing it's hissing that damn thing will eat ur face off

  • Погладь кота сука!!!

  • cool

  • nice video how do you get them to walk inot the traps?

  • They need to outlaw these traps

  • @MrRanwolfe They keep populaio down retard

  • @hom30106 What do you keep down semen?

  • Reach down and pet him!

  • i would be mad and hissing if my hand was stuck in a trap

  • That's why fur sucks!!!

  • Nice one. Its big!

  • Great video good looking cat did you have it mounted or just tanned

  • I wish that bobcat would have malled your fucking face you bitch,DONT MAKE ANIMALS SUFFER!!!

  • Nice catch man.

  • How can that be "without injury?" Define "injury." And what was the trap for to begin with? Something's off about this whole scene.

  • @Antithropocentric for research dummy. I have two biology professors that research bobcats and mountain lions for a living. this is how you get them, then you either hit them with a tranq or let them go if its not what youre looking for. a minor flesh wound is not considered an injury... wild animals get flesh wounds all the time. itd be like you getting a paper cut. stop being all PETA.

  • Calm down the animal is fine cats have tender feet and tend to cut them on ice

  • Bobcat: "I am not happy, Maurice, NOT happy"

    Person: O-o "who's Maurice?"

Bobcat: "I will kill you, Maurice"

    person: O_O "who's Maurice!?"

  • poor kitty

  • UNINJURED MY ASS. PUT UR FUCKING HAND IN IT

  • @slik1281 i have they dont hurt its only if u pull it starts to hurt but only a little but almost impossible to get ur hand out

  • "Let me go, biiiiitch...."

  • looks real uninjured with its foot in a conda bear..

  • @14stjohns Conda bear? leg hold restraint "trap"

  • what a pretty kitty cat it could kill you though

  • what a pretty kitty cat

  • You should of filmed the uninjured release mate

  • without injury? I see blood in the snow to the right of it.

  • @kifuller1 if you pay attention, the blood is from its back foot, and its not much blood at all, obviously not an injury from the trap

  • @kifuller1 Its from its back foot, they have tender paws and tend to cut them on ice :P

  • poor cat

  • WHOOPY DING DONG. A few drops of blood. You leak more from a paper cut

  • how did you catch it? i hear them all around my house.. any tips would be appreciated!

  • 'Without injury'. Sorry but there is extremely obvious blood on the snow.

  • @MrFloppywaffles of course there is surely a bunch drops of blood's

  • @StormDevilery But that isn't 'without injury'.

  • So what is the purpose of setting a trap and catching a bob cat? I do not disagree with hunting for food, but killing or injuring aminals for sport is completely against my culture and beliefs.

I have rarely seen bob cat in the wild and when I do the last thing that comes to mind is killing such a beautiful creature. Bob cats shy from people and will only defend itself if cornered or the litter is in harms way.

  • cool

  • Beautiful catch! those things are always a treat to find in the set!!!

  • @TheGarrett39 Well said. People should also read the discription... all animal freaks (not animal lovers) see is a poor defensless animal trapped and left to die then they go in rage and think this guy did that on purpose and think that the cat got killed. In reality it was set free ppl need to calm down.

  • what is this your sick version of land fishing in the form of catch and release?

  • Might be worth pointing out that if these creatures weren't killers themselves, they'd never be trapped.

  • @TauCetiAlpha first of all, these "creatures" kill to eat........to SURVIVE. I can see people hunting and killing animals if they have to, to survive. But if they do it just for "sport".....sorry, can't see the reasoning behind it.

  • @doodlepot The sport is getting out in the fields and forests, observing nature, watching turkeys, grouse, foxes, squirrels, beavers, two does and three fawns for a half hour, or a black bear taking a dip in the river on a hot autumn day. The hunt is the sport, not the kill, otherwise how do you explain 150,000 hunters in Maine each year with only 11% actually taking a deer? A successful hunt means you've watched fifty wild animals in their habitat and taken the one you need for food.

  • I trap and im only 14 i just started and it not inhuman to do this. With a leg trap you just shoot them and if its a conibear it snaps the animals back and neck so their death is quick and painless and it is not cruel what so ever!

  • Why do people have to set up traps & snares, it's torture, humans are so cruel!

  • @ thegarrett39: First of all beavers are doing what comes natural. second of all, if people want fur coats then get the ones that don't require REAL fur....some of those are really soft. And ALL wild animals kill to eat, to survive...they deserve to live also. As for coytoes damaging the deer and making it hard for hunters.......they can only hunt legally certain times of the year so thereforth, they are not hunting to survive......they are hunting for what u call "sport."

  • @doodlepot non-sequitur. I know many, many families that would not survive without hunting deer and birds to feed their families.

  • thats an $800 bobcat

  • This kind of thing makes me sick. May the person(s) responsible grow up and find another way to make a living.

  • @guyNbluejeans Tell that to the Aleutians who have been trapping animals for a living for 40,000 years. Not everyone wants to work at McDonald's with you.

  • @TauCetiAlpha I'll take kind-hearted burger flippers over soulless ghouls and their presumptuous jackasses that defend their cruelty any day. In the next life it'll be your miserable ass having the steel teeth grind into your bones and ligaments until one of your drunk aleutian idiots finally get around to putting you out of your misery a few days later. We'll see how big you are on this sick shit then.

  • @guyNbluejeans Humans are at the top of the predatory arc of the circle of life. We kill animals and plants to eat. Where the hell do you think burgers come from? The store?

  • @TauCetiAlpha When you ask such a question you betray your shallowness. Do you really not know anything about gradations, about degrees, about nuances?

It's one thing to kill an animal as humanely as possible ... , and it's another thing to kill an animal in a way that needlessly causes it to suffer more than it should.

Animals can't speak to human beings. But one's God-given commonsense ought to generate enough compassion to know there are ways of killing that are less painful than other ways

  • @guyNbluejeans I don't disagree with that. But you do realize that this animal was released, correct?

  • @TauCetiAlpha I don't know what happened to this animal. But if it was actually caught in a steel leg-hold trap as it looks like it was, then I would guess that it died a long, drawn-out death as it couldn't muster the necessary wherewithal to do anything other than limp off and hide under some bush until death mercifully came along.

I used to shoot birds for "fun" due to my mindless idiot of a father putting me on the wrong track in life. You can laugh at that, but the flashbacks are no fun!

  • @guyNbluejeans Your assumptions are false. Modern leghold traps rarely result in permanent injury unless a very small animal is caught. The bobcat who was released unharmed as described elsewhere in this thread by the original poster. This Bobcat is still out there contributing to population control of prey animals.

  • @TauCetiAlpha I've seen these traps many times. And there's no question they're about the most wicked, cruel things ever devised.

  • @guyNbluejeans Making shit up does not help your argument. You can trip a 1.5 with your bare hand and it will not hurt you. Modern foot-hold traps just do not cause physical pain and do not harm animals except in rare cases. They hold the foot, nothing more. It's equivalent to holding someone in jail for the night. This bobcat was not harmed *at all* by being in the foot trap.

  • @TauCetiAlpha I'm not making shit up. I go into Cabela's and Sportsmans Warehouse all the time and I see the traps they sell and in terms of their innate wickedness they're up their with land mines.

And doesn't your God-given commonsense tell you that a steel device slamming onto a limb and holding it there, not allowing the victim to escape is going to do damage? (If you think not, go to Cabela's and have them set a bear trap and then step into it.)

These traps and poisons are indefensible.

  • @guyNbluejeans Your opinion is largely based on myth and movies, not reality. Try this video watch?v=Vp0V6R884ag Foot hold traps are safer for animals than live cage traps. If you want to argue emotional abuse or some other PETA nonsense, fine; but these traps do not harm animals. That's an indisputable fact. If you can't accept the truth, then there's no point to this conversation.

  • @TauCetiAlpha Thanks for the link; I'll check it out later.

Yes; I'll be happy to continue the "emotional abuse" conversation with you once you have the people at Sportsman's set the bear trap up and have you test out your claim and post it on YT. Don't worry; those bear traps with their big, steal teeth along with their high-tension plates won't harm a hair on your thighs, I'm sure of it.:-)

  • @guyNbluejeans Btw, if the cat in this vid didn't get harmed as you claim, then how do you account for all the blood shown?

  • @guyNbluejeans Straying away from a 1.5 coyote trap into bear trap because you've lost this argument doesn't impress me. There are numerous YT videos of people putting their hands in bear traps and they frickin' hurt a human arm. But they don't break bones, and have a much lesser effect on a 600lb bear. As soon as I grow two-inch-thick leg fur and hide, we'll get that going, but unfortunately, a human foot won't fit in a regular bear trap, so we'll have to come up with another test.

  • @TauCetiAlpha too bad for you there are many PHOTOS proving these steel traps severely injure wild animals, traps do not descriminate- ANY animal whose paw is small enough to step on the trigger pan is going to have those jaws SLAM on their leg, whether or not it actually breaks the leag at that point doesnt matter- the animal's struggling to get away RESULTS in injuries that include chewing their paw off to escape. These are BARBARIC torture devices invented in the 1850s, outlaw them now.

  • @NativePrairieWolf a few people staging a video on tube of them allegedly putting a finger in a trap is bullshit, I OWN several steel traps I bought to examine myself, including a #4 wolf trap and they have tremendous power and cant be simply slid off like a mousetrap on your thumb- the jaws LOCK SHUT due to the way the springs are designed. They are the most barbaric shit ever invented and should be outlawed as cruel.

  • @NativePrairieWolf Stop being so retarded. The whole chewing off the foot thing is a myth, except for raccoons, and there are special traps that prevent raccoons from getting to their held foot. Damage from modern off-set jaw steel traps only happens in very, very rare cases.

  • @TauCetiAlpha stop being a pro hunter moron, you want PHOTOS and published facts? there's loads out there proving what happens, there's descriptions in Murie's PUBLISHED book- a UG Govt printing office pubished booklet on coyotes, Hope Rydens book and others also.

You think a frightened animal is going to lay there for days trapped just idling the time away, no, they are going to put up a fight and try to escape- that causes injuries, and if the foot goes numb chewing it off is inevitable.

  • @TauCetiAlpha samples from a BOW HUNTING site that has PHOTOS

wisheds Date: 11-Jan-10 A few years ago there was a yote in the field that had a leghold trap right up to its front armpit. No leg underneath.

On a different occasion my brother found a trap that wasnt staked down and it had a coyote foot in it.

    HuntinHabit Date: 11-Jan-10

My uncle shot a 3 legged yote a few years ago, but it was the front leg missing. Stuck an arrow right in the eye at 3 yards on the ground as he ran by.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

    More samples from a BOW HUNTING site;

    "From: BOWUNTR Date: 12-Jan-10

I killed one (coyote) with three legs. It was missing a back leg. I called it in to 20 yards and didn't know it had three legs"

    "From: SC Date: 05-May-10

I caught a pic of a three legged deer on my trail cam. "

".It was a three-legged male and was probably the coyote that I observed hanging back from the rest of the pack. The leg did not look very good. It was an old injury that had healed over"

  • @TauCetiAlpha so why all the blood on the snow

  • Comment removed

  • No Injury ???? What the fuck is that blood doing on the floor right next to the Bobcat ???

Damn redneck, go grow a pair of balls and a brain.

  • @invisibleisolation Because it's called freedom. I don't tell you to not prostitute yourself do I? You should go out and look for traps, maybe you'll end up in one too just like that ugly rodent.

  • @invisibleisolation my question is: whats the FUCKING point? people like this that set traps for animals should be shot. I didn't see any point at all to catch that Bobcat. No point what so ever.

  • @doodlepot

I trap beaver for the town because they asked me to. they are actually paying me to trap beaver because they cause damage and flood the water near our pumphouse. now theres plenty of reasons people trap coyotes. Coyotes damage the deer population, which sucks for hunters, and they eat dogs and cats. People trap for the fur which they either sell or use to make fur coats or blankets or boots or something. There are plenty of resons people trap. No one just does it to kill them.

  • @Alexers9410

That thing will tear off your face no questions asked

  • awww kitty :D

Ehh, poor cats, you should be after the coyotes, not a lil kitty cat.

  • should have kept it as a pet ;)

  • Also, you can clearly tell that the blood is not from the bobcat, but that it is part of the bait. Notice how the trap is fully extended and it is not even close to the blood. I hate it when people post crap who have no idea what they are even talking about.

  • @TheGarrett39 glad u clarified that cuz i thought it was from the cat myself.

  • @invisibleisolation I also think you mighht be confusing a trap with the old traps that had the teeth on the jaws. well if you are, those are iillegal. and most traps have pads on the jaws these days

  • @invisibleisolation yes i am saying if you step on a trap you won't get injured. they are not big enough to go around your fooot. think about this, if you step on a trap with a jawspread of 4 inches, and you have a 10-12 inch foot, nothing is going to happen!! There is no way it will catch you foot unless you walk on your tippy toes or something!! The only trap big enough to catch a human foot is a bear trap, which is illegal. If you still don't understand what i mean, well your just stupid

  • @splintercell334 ANS-esters? Is that like "in-breeders" and "in-cestors?"

  • @invisibleisolation Then come up to the times and stop trapping PROTECTED ANIMALS.

    Mrs. Sledgehammer

  • @invisibleisolation When I find traps like these I go get a sledge hammer and bash them up to where they can't be used, and leave them for the owners to find. They're lucky I don't have a history of violence because I would smash them with the sledge too! I agree-they're fucking assholes. This beautiful cat frightened and could be injured for life, and they're hard as hell to get out of the trap!

  • @invisibleisolation

funny how traps arent big enough to cath a human retard. and death by a trapper is way more humane than any other death in the wild. I hate people who say crap about these videos and dont even know what they are talking about. Why even watch it in the first place? By the way trombs nice catch.

  • @TheGarrett39 I hope they don't "cath" a human, though I CATCH one of these assholes with traps like these they will need a CATH for a couple of weeks!

  • @invisibleisolation that is just fucking dumb!!!

  • @invisibleisolation your the fucking fag complaining BITCH.. not me.

  • this is a awsome video, awsome catch. I really want to start getting involved with trapping. For all of you who don't like this video, dont watch it. Their is a reason god created humans at the top of the food chain and allowed us to evolve so greatly and that is to use resources such as pelts and hunting as a form of survival since we werent blessed with a fur coat. In a perfect world yah we wouldnt have to kill but we do so get over it. nothing you do or say will change anything so just stop

  • @weatherbynation88 WELL THATS JUST YOUR OPINION BRO

  • @hazelzevallos no thats a fact...i didnt give a morals speech..i said humans were on top of the food chain and that we survived from using animal skins..both valid and proven facts..not a opinion....as for the in the perfect world comment yes that is a opinion, but i feel a strong one because #1 for the americans who do love gun rights, will not give them up for anything, #2 hunters (such as myself) are arrogant about animals ill admit. but alot respect animal beauty

  • @weatherbynation88 perhaps in medieval times. Use the damn Walmart, you ignoramous.

  • @weatherbynation88 first of all: the main word there is SURVIVED.......now its just a luxery. Second of all: you said something about gun rights....if your talking about the right to bare arms and whatnot.....that doesn't include the right to kill.......(animals or humans in my opinion)...and i'm all for the right to bare arms. thirdly : if u respect animal beauty, how the HELL can you KILL it? Thank you very much.

  • that cat looks like a mad cat, I would have gassed it to sleep, and then kept it as a pet.

  • @invisibleisolation

part of the reason why 1. i prefer live traps.. because that doesnt cause as much suffering.. and you can put the animal down with a humane kill like a fast shot to the head. and 2, youd have to be pretty dumb to get your self in a live trap.

  • I'm glad you got him out without getting your faces ripped off as he is clearly terrified and capable, but his paw is in a trap and there's blood on the snow so how could it not have been injured? Also, smart thinking on the use of a moving blanket, nice work.
