it's really just a slow version of Fprime by Worley labs which has been out for years.
I've done a comparison with vpr and Fprime rendering the same scene at the same time. VPR is more or less identical in the things it will render but it does it MUCH slower than Fprime. (neither will render post effects like lens flare)
sorry to say newtek, nice effort but it doesn't even come close to the speed and interactivity of Fprime
@chemicalBR0 even though this was on a 12 Cores machine, VPR shows it's power at slower machines, test again please, cause your answer is to simple, how many machines and scenes did you test? and did you compare the same scene?
vpr is the ONE thing i Miss about LW. I wish Maya had vpr.....
