I've played the crap out of this for a over a year now. One of only a few regular youtube songs I hit. Won't be stopping anytime soon. Thanks Bryan Adams.
OMG>>This one is toatly awesome.. I just love the violinist.. He is fantastic..Iv never heard Bryan sing and od this song like this..Thank you so very much for posting!!!!!!!
Loved this guy from day one - but not sure that this tour as a three piece does the songs full justice. Better with B back on guitar and Keith allowed more room to fly!! Still love him tho!
Finally ! I liked the original version the played on MTV back in the 80's which is more (but not completely) like this one. The slow"unplgged" style version is terrible. If someone has the original MTV Into The Fire video I'd like to see it.
@DrHogfan Me too (especially if there was an actual original video for the album version.) Hopefully the folks at Bryan's channel can dig it up somewhere. I don't like unplugged versions of any songs.
Into the fire, un album jamais égalé. Une chanson qui va fouiller au fond de mes tripes a chaque fois. Cette version est incroyable... mais l'originale sur vinyl reste un délice pour les oreilles!. Keep going Bryan... Luv u, always!
'Into the Fire' is one of his best albums - and totally underrated at its time. Actually, he was way ahead of his time with this album. And the title song is just amazing, profound and timeless. Love this live performance. As always, Bryan is a miracle on stage.
Still after all these years....the song sounds fresh and new. The bass line is kick ass. I can listen to this over and over - and, have actually done that.
Take your pick: "Revolver"-era Paul McCartney or "The Stone Roses"-era Mani on bass. Either way, it's some fine playing. I always thought this song should've been bigger than it was.
do you wait for your dreams to come true... time has no mercy, time won't stand still for you. (This was the time when Bryan got his two better albums... Reckless and Into the fire.) This last one has got one of the better songs by Bryan... Rebel (I cannot find it in YT). The first one -Reckless- is a R'n'R jewel from the first to the last song... I still remember those concerts jumpin' in the air!!
Love it. Was at Scala Teatern in Stockholm (sat by that drunk guy who was shouting LP 84 or something, ha ha) when you played there, and also at Hovet.
Haha he was sooo annoying!! xD I have a video where he asks Bryan if Cuts like a knife was written in 82.. and then he wants his number and everybody screams "jaja tyst" and "sluta nu". xD I was at those concerts too. :) This song is awesome!
Bryan, you ROCK!

It's a bit difficult to play that bass line and to sing at the same time. Great performance and great song. One of my favourites!

Indeed, bass line is VEEEERY Macca!
It reminds me of the Beatles "Rain" /" Taxman" bass line.
Macca used to play this way in '66
