  • could not see this without turning down my sperkers every time the tinnitus appear, don't want that my brain gonna read these signals as error-signals I think this video just made tinnitus worse for those who doesn't have it.

  • @GiggleJiggly

Couldnt be more happier! Its the only solution that

helped my tinnitus disappear. I thought i will be

forever be this way cause my doctor told me that

its incurable. Good thing my friend told me about

this solution offered by the site:

    StopTinnitusToday.info

After about 2 and half months on its program,it

made wonderful difference in my life!I would

    definitely recommend this to everyone.

  • WTF my tinnitus is a low volume high pitch one. I pray it will never get this bad.

  • This is just sad....for those who have tinnitus, it can usually be covered...whether its with a fan, or a song. This lady can't hear anything so these things mean nothing to her, and she has these annoying noises that until they fine a %100 cure, she will be forced to live with....I'm sorry.

  • I've had tinnitus since 1970, it's gradually driving me round the bend, I know the older I get, the worse it'll get. With me it's just under normal volume level, so if the telly or radio is on it's not a problem, only when there's silence - it's there. AAAArrrggghhhhh!!!!

Thank you for highlighting it Zoe, I'm nowhere being made deaf by it,

but I'm all too aware it could happen.......

  • Very good movie, but with the sounds.... Very strange. I don't know what you wanna let us year, but its by far not all Tinnitus. I was wondering: the girl is hearing this noises maybe? But she is saying to be deaf, so then she is not hearing this noises, but this sounds are not Tinnitus at all. Although I know you have a lot of different kinds of Tinnitus, but.... This... No...

But good movie, just would be better with realistic sounds, and with subtitles so also deaf people could see it.

  • Hi Zoe,I really enjoyed your video.I have been living with a constant ringing in my left ear for the past few months. I can relate to your video and find it's appropriate to let others know how it feels. I'm sure with the new medicine/technology that it should become easier to heal tinnitus fully. I then hope that we all can be cured

  • Government thank you for providing us with another thing that we should worry our short lives about, Should I worry about Tinnitus? FUCK NO. It's a ringing, DEAR GOD someone call 9-11...

  • @ThaDopeTV Clearly you don't have Tinnitus. 8D

  • @ThaDopeTV That's not very understanding of you. The government did not cause this, it's a neurological condition. It can be horrible, people kill themselves because of it.

  • @ThaDopeTV

Let's hope you don't get tinnitus then, hey?

Trust me, you wouldn't be saying that if you did,

you'd possibly be reaching for the razor blades......

  • I found this to be incredibly moving.

  • omg that is just the worst thing in the world not being able to hear and have tinnitus at the same time omg i have it but i can hear so i mask it with a fan cuz it only bothers me when im going to sleep im sorry no1 should ever go through something like that be strong

  • This is very touching.

I have tinnitus too, but i dont have hearing damage.

but it is sometimes very frustrating to deal with it.

i am electronic music producer/event promoteur.

my t started from loud music.

remember people....just only one time needed to start this....use earplugs in gigs. now 9months with t and hoping to dealing it in future.

    greetings with 8khz and 16khz with 20db

  • @LSKkr Hey, try some acupuncture to help tinnitus. Pros it works, cons need to be a constant treatment that just controls it, not cures it. Also try herbs, and check dental work if you have one that there is no metal, shoulb be ceramic. Good luck...

  • kieo32, wonderful film. I live with this every frikkin day.

  • thank you for publishing this!!!

i feel like this girl :-(

i feel for shooting my left ear to give an end to this shit :(

  • Hi, thanks for your messages guys I really appreciate it :) To dominoaj3 - If you can hear its a good idea to find tapes designed for tinnitus so you can mask the sounds somewhat. I haven't heard of Devils symphony however "it's all gone pete tong" is a great film on tinnitus. Good luck!

  • thanks, i think i'll try to check both out- i relate to things much better when i see them, rather than reading or even talking about it, so films are my ways of learning.

  • hi i check that video on youtube and i watched with a friend who can hear and we thought it was pretty awesome the It's all gone pete tong" i can totally relate how i lost my hearing i got extremely depress and all...now, i accept myself of how i am now...

  • have you trying hearing aids? i went to the audiologist couple of days ago and he says that hearing aids may help with Tinnitus (i still hear it but not as loud as before)

  • wow, powerful piece...! i've signed onto youtube just to get more info on tinnitus because i'm looking for a doc or something to watch about tinnitus. i've had it for years, but didn't even realize that i did, until i've noticed problems sleeping more recently... heard about a film called devils symphony, but wondering if anyone has seen it, and could recommend it?

  • i heard of it but never had the chance to see it...a friend of mine told me about it though. but then again i am not gonna recommended unless i have seen it first hand. you know...like you i also suffer from tinnitus and also from presbycusis 'cause by tinnitus...i was prescribed ambien and that kinda works..but sometimes i can't even sleep well because of the constant sound that does not leave.

  • Nice vid... the most significative part of it is when the vid has no sound...and you still can hear that damn noise...It's about 9 months that I have no silence...Did anyone get rid of this?

  • i am going deaf pretty much and i thought once i do then i will not hear the tinnitus ever again....WRONG! i hear it anyways even though i can't hear anything around me which it sucks! Sadly, tinnitus has no cure at all!

  • Yes, living hell, I know that feeling. All is stopping me from suicide is a hope for nirvana though meditation...

  • this is one of the most powerful and beautiful videos i have ever seen...im speachless!

  • I found this hard to listen to but learned a lot from watching it and found it very poetic.

  • this is very touching, I have exactly the same feeling. I've had tinnitus for 4 yrs.

I experienced extremely severe phoebia, anxiety, and depression. I rely on medicine for 3 and half yrs, and still feel I am close to hell. It seems that the world is not real.

  • i feel ya..i have had it for 3 years and i'm still having a rough time.. it's a phychological disturbance for real, but i'm still here though..

  • thanks. i'm also still here, and aware i'm not alone.

  • i know exactly what you mean. I can hardly sleep, when someone talks to me, it like mumble and i am like what? i am so depress by it though i am trying to cope the best way i can which is learning ASL. and i have tinnitus for 6 years now and this year has gotten worse...i can't even mask it with the fan or anything that has a different sound...and i am basically becoming deaf which totally sucks but on the other hand, i wil be able to communicate with others who knows ASL

  • This brought me to tears. I can relate.

  • I felt the same way. I have had tinnitus for three years. It makes me depressed.

  • i take Prozac for it. It has helped me a lot and also i got into ASL because i am just can't hear nothing anymore...i am so bad at reading lips

  • This december it'll be 6 years since my T began.

It's been very hard that people just don't understand. You feel alone, sad, weak.

I was very close to suicide....

Now I tray to live as "normal" as possible but there's always a but.

Video editing is my hobby and I've being trying to make a short about this. Not anymore, I found yours and never felt so identified with somebody. I loved your short so much it brought me to tears.

I do, I miss silence too.

    Muchas gracias!

    excuse my english

  • Zoe,

I've enjoyed this surreal film. The expression you used facing the camcorder certainly allow me to feel in a certain way. The underwater photography was breathtaking and innovative. Congratulations for your splendid film and hope to see more in future.

  • I watched thison Channel 4 Last night and I thought it was a very great. I only get tinnitus every once in a while so I try not to have loud music or loud noises in general.

  • I did not know what tinnitus was until I saw you on tv and it got me interested in learning more about it. You have done a great job with this film and I wish you all the best for your dreams and ambitions for the future. You can do anything if you put your mind to it. You're a smart girl. Thank you.

  • This is a brilliant film. I've rated it 5 stars and added to my favourites. You are a very beautiful girl Zoe and I am glad that you are making people more aware of tinnitus and what tinnitus is.

  • Awesome piece of film work very creative and emotionally touching it certainly lives up to what it sets out to portray beautifully caputured and expressed film regarding Tinnitus. You are an amazing director Zoe ...

  • Thanks for your comments, I was aiming to show a different perspective as tinnitus isn't something others can see or hear, so I wanted to convey this visually and audibly as best as I could. I think many people are in this situation as Orpheus mentioned. I've heard it is better to listen to the film with headphones as it feels as though you have tinnitus too and also because it blocks some surrounding sounds off for those who can hear. Thanks again, Zoe.

  • Hi Zoe. I know your friend Tim Rueter. I also have mild tinnitus. Good video.

  • wow very interesting...and emotional. extremely well put together and even better when listening through head fones.
