ok i have three questions that if anyone can help me would be great and appreciate i aint doing this yet til i have unlocked it first so my questions 1. will this cost anything at all to program this android mod to the hd2 2. i have a two gig sd memory card will that serfice or will i need a much more bigger gig card 3. if i choose that if the android does not suit me at anytime weather it lags or dosent work right or i just dont want it anymore can i go back to the windows mod thank you

for ringtones download an app called ringdroid and you can convert your tracks into ringtones or go into the music player on a playing track hit menu and select use as ringtone :)

@TopGamingCinema Yes, no HTC Sense in this build. Though I believe it can be downloaded from the market for a small fee, or just use a build with HTC sense like I am now

@TheSongSeeker before downloading, go into settings and under phone storage and click unmount sd card, then download what you want from market should work, after downloading go back into settings and click mount sd card.

my navigation doesnt work it just shows the directions but wont do the turn by turn speeech directions and it doesnt show me the gps symbol when im trying to use it. any suggestions?

@moneyman562 try a different rom, some roms aren't gps compatible and won't work. try gamesquare.co.uk , they have the latest updated 1's.

Im from the uk mate and i have a htc hd2 not really done much to it so pretty basic and i wanted to do this android business onit, am not really a pro when it comes to hacking etc is it a easy process and can u link me or tell me how to do it...and does it actully work smooth n stuff...

and after this has been installed will windows be gone for good?

@danimalikk It's quite easy to do, when you run android you can easily go back to windows mobile by either turning the phone off like you would holding down the end button and power off, or remove the battery. Once you power the phone on again or put the battery back in and power on, you will be back to windows. I'll send you a message on how to get it running on your phone.

hey i updated the radio from my stock tmobile hd2 from 2.08 to 2.10 and it solves all echo and robots voices. at least for me. the only problem i have with this build is the speed of music and screen of death(i have the backlight sensor off btw)
